The question is whether you have a recurrent infection or a persistent infection. A recurrent infection is treated with an appropriate antibiotic (determined by a culture) and the infection is eliminated. Then there is a period when you have no infection, then a new infection occurs. A persistent infection is one that was never eliminated but just suppressed while on antibiotics. It is caused by a focus of infection somwhere in the urinary tract. It's caused by the same bacterium.

Since you havent mentioned what caused this food poisoning and other relevant information, its difficult to suggest a medicine. I ll just say, There are better medicines for food poisoning.
The anti-biotics should take care of the infection. Hopefully they gave her something other than amoxicillin because that anti-biotic takes a while to work and get rid of infections, but it does work. If an infection is not taken care of, with anti-biotics, it can spread, which is why I mentioned the kidneys. Though because she is being treated, it should not be anything to worry about. Make sure she takes all of the anti-biotics and she should be fine.
Past couple days I've been having what felt like menstrual cramps. Today I found that I had a tampon in from over a week ago. I forgot about it. Now I feel like I have a bladder infection. Hurts to pee, frequent urination, and there's blood in it. I took 2 amoxicillin 500 mg capsules. But I'm really in pain. Should I go to ER, or wait till morning and see how I feel?

chances are the infection never really went away, if it was gonorreah or syphilis it probably relapsed...
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

In my opinion, the tiredness is probably related to this persistent infection and the anitbiotic.
Are you following up with an ENT Specialist and/or an Allergist for this chronic/persistent sinus infection? This problem could also be allergy-related.
I am very worried now that I may have a prostate infection or epididymitis caused by bacteria that are found in the anus. What should I now do from here. Have not had prostate checked.

I am NOT on any form of birth control. I also had a serious bladder infection earlier in the month which I took medication for (Amoxicillin Tryhidrade) and I found out that that could be a reason why my period is late. I've also been having very bad period like cramps all day which I always have on the first and second day of my period but nothing's happening. I really need some help. I'm never having unprotected sex again cause I don't want to go through this fear again.
