allegra

589762 tn?1330207135 I looked that up as well and wondered why the doc didnt just tell me to go get benadryl which is a B class drug (safer than C) then just sending in a script for allegra (C class Drug) I think I will stick with the benadryl.... Thanks!
Avatar f tn I've had several members mention difficulty with the size of the font on MedHelp. Eye strain and cognitive disorders are two of the reasons given. It is hard to focus for a period of time without the words becoming blurred or appearing to run together. Some of our disabilities or medications cause vision problems. How do other members feel about having a way to set your font size, for better reading ability? Thank you for your response.
1646392 tn?1333251893 Oh BTW, I have some problems with allergies but nothing proven, had the back test and came out negative on all allergies so they just told me to take allegra. I can't take allegra and sudafed together so I switched to zyrtec. I am also allergic to IB Profrin and Aspirin.
Avatar m tn Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
199177 tn?1490498534 we blind people can make the font larger , I like that .I don't have to squint anymore ....
106886 tn?1281291572 It looks great! Thank you for putting all that information together for us! I went in and edited the font to be bigger. All I did was choose "edit", then changed the font size. Sometimes those pages can be a little tricky, but I think it worked. If you want to change anything else on it, you can edit it at any time. Thanks again! I think that will be a great addition to the Health Pages, and a lot of women are going to benefit from it!
969286 tn?1253760391 and any font that's named Grilled Cheese is bound to become one of my favorites!
Avatar m tn In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
Avatar f tn s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad. Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Avatar m tn Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
134578 tn?1693250592 I work on a Sony Vaio laptop most of the time, using Mozilla Firefox browser. As back-up I use an iMac. On the Vaio, but not on the iMac, my view of MedHelp suddenly changed size two days ago, to a font that is about 7 point type. It's hard to read. When it happened, I had my fingers near the space bar and the touchpad. Did I hit something that would tell the site to shrink? This doesn't happen when I look up my email or any other website on the Vaio.
Avatar f tn Hi! Congratulations! If you were my patient, I would advise you to take the absolute minimum medication that you can get away with during the first trimester especially. BUT having said that, Allegra is pregnancy category C which means that it CAN be used in pregnancy if the benefits out weigh the risks. Hope this helps!
Avatar n tn Loratadine is considered a placebo by many doctors (and many patients that I have talked to). Zyrtec and Allegra are good choices. Since Allegra just came OTC, it will be much more expensive the Zyrtec generic. I take Zyrtec. Take care and feel better. God bless.
Avatar m tn Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.
Avatar n tn fifi- that only changes the font of the responses. I can't get it to change the font of the titles.
Avatar f tn Benadryl is safe.
Avatar f tn I would sit tight till they open. These are such new drugs and only your Dr can give you the green light. You don't want to risk SVR unless you know for sure. .....
1402935 tn?1281958699 I tried just general Benadryl and had the same reaction. Red face hard to breath through the nose. I was recently prescribed Allegra and am nervous to take it as it looks like it has a lot of the same medication as benadryl but stronger. Are these medications the same? This discussion is related to Post-Nasal cough?.
Avatar f tn I was OK to take Allegra. Ask your Dr. But I know Allegra is safe as well as benadril. And claritain. When in doubt ask a Dr.
Avatar f tn I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.
222135 tn?1236488221 MedHelp has made three font sizes available. Look in the upper right hand of the discussion section. There are three A's. Somehow how you are probably on the middle or largest. Choose a smaller one until you like it.
135691 tn?1271097123 You can reduce the font size by clicking the "A" buttons on the header bar.
Avatar n tn My oldest son is on Risperdal,as well as three other meds. He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all.
Avatar n tn I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?
