i took it almost every day and felt much. now m feeling that m addicted to this. i want to stop taking this but i con't . when i sotp to take cetirizine again the problems arises like allergy,itching , irrrtation . i went to so many doctors but no useeeee. plz plz save me from this. now m feeling that i can not live without cetirizine.....

I have consulted an allergist who prescribed Allegra and/or Zyrtec. Neither works. I have been to a dermatologist as well. I have purchaswd numerous eye creams, nothing works. I can be fine for several days or weeks and then for no reason it appears.

Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.

s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad.
Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.

Doctor infection in my inner thighs is round and the inner most thighs is completely ok but the area around it is scaly red and it also have some small red pimples and it is spreading towards my scrotum and anal area. i found 4th generation tests only said for group M and O ( from quest diagnostic and even Abbott architect) Does that mean the tests are unable to detect group N? If true, will RNA TMA or DNA pcr will detect group N?

Congratulations! If you were my patient, I would advise you to take the absolute minimum medication that you can get away with during the first trimester especially. BUT having said that, Allegra is pregnancy category C which means that it CAN be used in pregnancy if the benefits out weigh the risks.

Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.

I would sit tight till they open. These are such new drugs and only your Dr can give you the green light. You don't want to risk SVR unless you know for sure.

I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.
