I recently developed a cough that contains a bright green mucous. I was diagnosed with a sinus infectiona couple weeks ago and prescribed doxycyline and a z pack. I started feeling better so I stopped taking the antibiotic. I then began to develop fluid in my ears and a stuffy nose. I took a decongestant and stopped taking my daily allegra. I seemed to feel better for a few.days. I've never had a fever or headache with any of this.
Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.
like Claritin D or Allegra D...always buy the generic versions of those to help save you money, because they are quite expensive for a month's supply. If that medicine doesn't help, or you have those other symptoms I mentioned, you may have a sinus infection and require an antibiotic to cure it! Good luck!
When it stopped being covered under brand name on our rx policy we switched to the generic. Under the generic Escitalopram0 (10 mg x 2 per day) he got headaches, dizziness, inability to focus the way he should, "fuzzy" feelings. The brand is $275 per month. If there is a natural compound or herb etc could you let us know. I always knew that certain generics would not work the same way. If the only choice is lexapro then that will have to be.
My doctor actually told me that allegra was fine to take as long as its the regular kind not allerga D. But I didn't take it all of the time... N my baby is perfectly healthy, benadryl is good to take too.U should ask ur doctor n see what ur comfortable taking Bcus everyone is different.
I usually take Allegra at night for allergies but I picked up generic Claritin at the dollar general and took it last night. I woke up twice during the night with diarrhea. In the am I was nauseous and achy but went to work where I started to feel so dizzy i almost blacked out several times then threw up. After that I felt a bit better but still not 100%. Could this be a reaction to the Claritin? I've taken it before but not in a long time.

I am fifty post menaposal, I take flonase and zertec, I was on allegra but changed. I was prescribed these medications. I check my bood pressure and I have No blood sugar issues last time I checked which was my annual.
If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID.
I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes. Since starting Claritin-D, I no longer have that problem unless it wears off before I go to bed.
I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?
2 and my antibodies were 900 i am taking armour thyroid 90 mg. I also take allegra. I still have terrible itching from the antibodies or so everyone tellsme that it what it is. Is there anything else I can do to stop this. Does anyone else have this????
Are you working on the D deficiency? Many people find that D has to be well up in the reference range to feel well.
Your doctor (if you're in the States) has to provide you with a copy of your labs on request. One of the best things you can do is get in the habit of asking for a copy and keep your own history. If you jot down meds and symptoms immediately preceding labs, you will see patterns emerging.

Have someone clean it or remove it if possible (within your financial means).Wear a mask when you have to be around it. All of this is extreme and a lot of work.
