allegra and toddlers

My Dr told me I can continue to take my allegra. And im now 24 weeks and my little man is just fine.

Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.

My oldest son is on Risperdal,as well as three other meds. He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all.

Yes, the medications I take for my allergies and asthma daily are: allegra (24 hour), singulair, alvesco, oxeeze, rhinocort, sometimes ventolin, and sometimes benedril.

s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad. Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..

Loratadine is considered a placebo by many doctors (and many patients that I have talked to). Zyrtec and Allegra are good choices. Since Allegra just came OTC, it will be much more expensive the Zyrtec generic. I take Zyrtec. Take care and feel better. God bless.

I am dying of a 48 hour allergy attack! Clarita does NOT help and the only thing that did before my pregnancy was Allegra.. I am 24.5 weeks along, could I get away with a dose?

Allegra D the one that is two colors tan and white will do that....I read it somwhere but can't remember where.

I have a three year old nephew and this morning he decided to push really hard on the side on my stomach. Could this have caused anything bad to happen I'm only 6weeks so I'm scared it could've caused damage. Is that possible or am I over thinking it?

I tried just general Benadryl and had the same reaction. Red face hard to breath through the nose. I was recently prescribed Allegra and am nervous to take it as it looks like it has a lot of the same medication as benadryl but stronger. Are these medications the same? Totally unrelated with babies but have any of you mommas seen toddlers and tiaras??? Im i the only one who thinks most of these mothers are horrible towards there kids? Maybe its my hormones but i get so angry watching it i just wanna punch all those mothers who are yellingbat there kids cuz they didnt smile or walk correctly????? Like what the hell??? O.O i have no problem if the kid really wants to do it but most of the time, at least on tv, its the moms who are just crazy in the head!

My family isnt the type to babysit overnight either and my husbands dad lives out of state and is coming to spend the day but has to drive back that night. So i really have no choice but to take her and honestly i don't mind her being there. I think id be more stressed personally if she wasn't there, which i know everyone is different but that's just me. And i live in Missouri.

Im 38 weeks and a ftm but my nephew is 2 almost 3 and everytime i see him he clings to me and holds my belly and says baby baby over and over. Its so cute. He kissed my belly one time when i was leaveing their house.

We also taught her when she was hurt to come sit in our lap. So I just sit down and say come to mommy and tell me what happened and we cuddle. Please at least wait 4 weeks but 6 is best. Good luck! I never trained my son this time around cuz I was convinced I would get my vba2c. My csection is scheduled for tomorrow when I will be 41 weeks and 4 days and I am very nervous he will jump on me so I know how you feel.

Decongestant nasal sprays work great-talk to your doc about which ones are safe & won't conflict with meds you are already on.

I was OK to take Allegra. Ask your Dr. But I know Allegra is safe as well as benadril. And claritain. When in doubt ask a Dr.

Allegra, Prilosec and Flovent (one puff a day.) I have not taken the Allegra for two days to see if this would help the dryness, but it has not. I do have an infection under a tooth where I had a root canal a few years ago. I finished the antibiotic for the infection about a week and a half ago and still have a slight swelling around the site of the infection. Also, it is dry where I live due to the furnace running, and I have been using a humidifier.

I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and called my dr to see what i can take.... he called in a rx for Allegra for me( i have tried Claritan and this does NOT work)..... is this safe.... I know he probably would not have called it in for me if he thought that it wouldnt not be.... But i have done some research and its a class C drug during pregnancy...... any of you ladies taken allegra during pregnancy???

I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?

I use zyertec and benadryl. My doctor has said they are both safe. Check with your doctor they should have an approved list of meds you can take.

When baby #2 is due our daughter will be two...how did you mom's get your toddlers ready for the new babies arrival?? My daughter is so attached to me and I dont want her to feel neglected. I'm just worried...

My doctor told me that zyrtec and claritin are ok but not allegra. If you perfer natural remedies, chamomile tea, vapor rub, hot chicken broth with a little cheyenne, lots of fruits and veggies-especially vitamin c. Netti pots work great for sinus problems, just make sure to use distilled water.

i started taking cetirizine about one year ago for allergy, mind irrretation and etc. i took it almost every day and felt much. now m feeling that m addicted to this. i want to stop taking this but i con't . when i sotp to take cetirizine again the problems arises like allergy,itching , irrrtation . i went to so many doctors but no useeeee. plz plz save me from this. now m feeling that i can not live without cetirizine.....
