I took my first dose of Alendronate and then experience significant muscle pain for the next 4 days. Does anyone know if I should expect this to happen each time I take it or is it something to happen for the first few times until my body adjusts to the medicine?
Do you mean Fosamax (alendronate)? If you do, its for treating bone problems like Osteoperosis by adding bone mass and slows bone loss. I use it for Osteopenia.

Im sitting down and every now and then i get some crazy butt pressure and back pain at the same time. He moved a few mims ago and my lower back started to hurt and my vaj! Any else expierence this...also, when baby drops does that mean labour is near?
People will say wow your stomach is really tight.. but then 10 mims later there like hmmm..your soft again.. is this normal? They have me wondering. Again just uncomfortable, not really pain.. the only pain I have experienced is in my who-ha, when it feels like someone is stretching me from side to side... anyone have any thoughts?
try having a bath and moving around if they go away its BH if not time it and once you get to 7-5 mims apart call ur midwife good luck keep us updated

They are rhythmic and feels similar to movement. They usually last like 5-30 mims for me and my baby gets them 2-3 times daily. Hiccups are good for the baby thats how babies practice breathing.
I am also taking Aromasin for bc. Stopped alendronate (I am osteopenic due to 30 yrs of prednisolone and Arimidex) in case this caused the oesophagitis. Would appreciate your advice.
thankyou,i am with contact of my doctor ,he said there is no solution for damaged vertibras,but calcium and vitiman d and alendronate sodium/cholecaiciferol tablets will help spine and bones from further damages but what to do with prednisones i cant stop them because of asthma and taking of them will damage other bones isnt there any other solution instead of prednisones, i know there is nothing accept these because my doctor told me:(

Osteoporosis medications like Raloxifene (Evista), alendronate (Fosomax), risendronate (Actonel) and ibandronate (Boniva) all can cause flu like symptoms in individuals that are taking them. I am not sure what medications you are on, but this could be your problem.
30 I woke up to contractions about 7/9 mins apart went all day Saturday between 5/9 mims apart. Finally about 9 pm they got to 3 mins apart. So we came to the hospital. Just to find out I was only at 1 1/2 cm dilated. So theu had me walk for an hour and checked again. I was now almost to a 3. So I walked some more. My contractions got worse. So I ask to just be admitted cause I was progressing so fast. Come about 2:30am I was at a 5 and my contractions got more intense did that for about 5hrs.
I have 131 days left! I sure hope time flies by. I already ordered everything, so I hope they get here tomorrow like fedex says lol! His swing got here yesterday and my daughter "helped" put it together and told me, "Its Ryders swing! He can come out now!

s, but this has exponentially been exacerbated by Arimidex. For the past 2 yrs I have been taking a weekly bisphosphonate (Alendronate), plus twice daily Calcichew/Vit.D to help prevent further bone loss.
Tamoxifen is prescribed for pre-menopausal patients, the AI's for post-menopausal. As I had a full hysterectomy some 19 yrs ago, I could go straight on to Arimidex.
