This is not uncommon, I have this problem as well. The question is can you live with the extra anxiety if the adderall is really helping you? The problem with taking an upper (adderall) and a downer (ativan) together is that they will counter act against each other and neither one will be as effective in your system. You said that you were just diagnosed? Is this your first add medication? You may want to consider trying a different one if the adderall continues to give you problems.
I went home for a little over a month began having my ole migraines again and found my old prescriptions for hydromorphone and oxycontin. With the combo of theoriginal headaches and my mother facing a brain tumor i found myself needing them to just get away from it all slowly but surely in this months span I took almost all of the pills about three bottles. And than when I couldn't sleep I took ambien.
i was heavily addicted for over two years to snorting oxycontin and/or heroin, along with xanax, any other benzo, or sleeping pills. basically any pill i could find a way to snort i would take it. i got help, detoxed, and went to treatment. iw as on a suboxone treatment plan for 8 months, but then i severely broke and separated my wrist which ended up leaving me in the vicious cycle of addiction all over again.
I use to think that I didn't have an addictive personality because I never had a problem with drugs in my past... that was until opiates were introduced to me. For me- opiates were the devil. I think for you to really get off oxy's- you might need to go somewhere else, considering the people you live with actively use. I've tried getting clean with other addicts before, and it never worked.
Go to sleep with migraine and wake up with one. Since I tried adderall, I can hardly remember those heavy duty migraines! It works great for my hypertensives. But I just moved to a different state, and doctor doesn't believe that adderall can be helping. How can I be tested for ADHD and get the prescription that works for me? Thanks for help.
Adderall should relax people with ADD. It relaxes me. She's basically using (abusing?) speed and dumped her boyfriend for no reason, possibly because her endorphines were flowing like crazy and she thought she didn't need him. She might have a tough time getting off it and crash hard. Plus when she gets offensve about her meds, that's a possible indication of drug abuse.
Does her doctor know she also drinks every day? This is not a good recipe.
re talking about. For a long time my drugs of choice were adderall and oxycontin, then adderall and heroin. I liked that they balanced eachother out and got super addicted to the combo of them. But yes, when I came off of them, I had severe depression. However, each day i stayed off of it got better. The thing is, I had to go to rehab or 12 step meetings for the support and teh community and so I was around other addicts who understood and so i made myself accountable to them.
I know this is NOT the way to deal with these problems, just a quick fix that Im going to have to deal with at some point. My life feels unmanageable, Im embarrassed that my friends know Im tweaking, and I can't tell my family because I would have to tell too much. I want to talk to my doctor about tapering off this drug and reclaiming my life...I want to do it in easiest way possible/start regaining some health right away.
I also find it hard to keep a conversation with people, whenever i hang out with girls or others i am usually just there being quiet, i really want to be happy and joke and talk with everyone else but it seems so hard. it feels like i have a major lack in personality and just dont care about anything and i dont have any intrests hobbies or anything to hold dear to me.
Iv been on opiates since iv been 11 started with 10mg norco (which is vicodin with 325 tylonal) and started taking it 3 times a day and was up to the point where i was taking 12 a day, then i was taking 10mg percs, moved up to 15 mg roxies then they added 30mg oxycontins 3 times a day, then i desided to try and taper myself off pain meds completely at age 15 because it was scary and my tollerance was just to high.
I am a 40 year-old female very newly diagnosed with ADHD. My doc started me on dexedrine 5mg twice a day to start off for now. Is aybody familiar with this medication? It seems like everyone is on newer name brand meds.

I have been a suboxone patient for about a year and a half now. I have had no cravings at all whatsoever for opiates or anything to go back and be a user. I had my daughter during this process and was prescribed subutex, which I thought worked well too. Between the time that I had gotten pregnant and had my daughter I had feelings of no sex drive, no motivation, no ''gusto'', etc.
ve been on fentanyl 100mcg every two days for about two years with no break through meds i go around and around with my doctor about this he even says that he knows my pain is severe enough for break through meds but because of a incident about 6 years ago he says he isnt comfortabnle prescrbing it to me BUT if i can afford to go to a pain managment clinic once and got a recommendation for it he would honor that the thing is i didnt have insurance and now i have state medical insurance they only
I even started taking the XR again in college to help me with concentration and memory. I obtained my B.A. degree and now no longer take the Adderall. Though I still struggle with concentration and memory at times I am living without the Adderall.
I take a Benzo for the Anxiety but otherwise I lead a healthy, normal, life. Whatever was "wrong" with me as a kid I outgrew!
00pm. After two weeks on this med and dose I found myself trying to take 2 at once to see if it would work since I felt absolutely nothing taking 1 10mg tablet twice during the day. I swear I do not abuse medication but whether my body can't absorb medication or I'm just defective I know that most people on the shear amount of different meds I take daily and then the dosages, it should be obvious that I'm highly medicated. But I'm not at all.
