my dr is retireing and i found a new one i will see in june,,the dr i have been seeing has been playing with my doses but i just dont see it helping,,right now im on 20 mg prozac and 3 mg xanax and 30 mg adderaLL...
why would my dr put me on it knowing the xanax would affect it when he prescibed the xanax and prozac/...and i drank 6 non alkie beers the other night and felt like i got a buzz that is odd i have drank the stuff for 2 1/2 years with no effect..pharmmist said it might be that im on higher dose of xanx then i was the ativan.......or it was in my head a botttle has less thn 0.5 percent alchol by volume......
I just need advice I see him on 19 th.
but I will keep my xanax prescription if I knew how much
to take and how much adderal .
I am wondering if anybody could give me a suggestion of a combination of ADD and anxiety medications that will be safe to use.
And one last thing, i was thinking that the disscooration and numbness in my knees could be caused by the combination of my smoking habit ( around half a pack a day), and the efeects that ADD meds have on constricting your blood vessels.
I also take adderall for add and xanax for anxiety. The reason that you are experiencing anxiety like symptoms from the adderall is because adderall is a stimulant. It is a mix of amphetamine and dextoamphetamine salts. It is a schedule II drug. Schedule I drugs are the worst classification and it goes down to schedule V. During a stressful period of my life I realized the Adderall and Ativan were fighting against each other. Too much Adderall was making me nervous and anxious, which I was treating with Ativan.

No, the fact that youre not getting the Adderal effect is directly related to the benzo use. To keep it simple, they cancel each others out. Like I said if you want to take full advantage if the amphetamine you gotta cut down on the the Xanax and use it as a night downer to make you able to calm down and have a good night of sleep.
Does the withdrawal symptoms are worse than the adverse-effects you were getting on a full dose? Wellbutrin and Adderall is really not helping your anxiety and you should consider that. Looks like you have some Xanax to cope with at least. The Xanax might be useful during the tapering and during your vacations.

My Dr tells me to take 80 mg of Adderall and 4 mg of xanax every day. I rarely take the whole amount, usually 40 or 60 mg of adderal and 1 or 2 mg of xanax. The doctor told me bipolar and Adderall is not a good combination. Actually three doctors told me this. While I was on it I did some crazy stuff. I lost a good relationship and damage some friendships. I also got into legal trouble. I was never like this before I took Adderall. It is an Evil drug!

it like take the xanax to slow down and chill out...take the addiril to get lifted back up from the xanax and let just add a antidepressant in there to try and stabilize you mood
right now your not high...your sideways you dont know if your coming or going on this sort of combo...I would get a second opinion and ditch the dr that would prescribe alcohol on top of all that especially knowing its contradictory to all 3 of the meds ....
