If your eSeroconversion is a successful one, your eAntibody (+) will hold viral activity down on its own. Hopefully this "inactive" phase will last many years. As HR pointed out "retreatment is best initiated when the VL is still low". This means you still have to do DNA regularly. If your DNA starts climbing right after you stop antivirals, it's retreatment. If your DNA stay low and after some years starts to climb, it's retreatment.
As there was no improvement. Doctor adviced to have Exemptia (Adalimumab) injection. 4 injections (40mg 8ml) was given. Next day he was having stomach pain, tight and rigid stomach, and fast breathing. He was immediately admitted in the nearby hospital and doctor found he was suffering from megacolon (toxic colon). After taking x-ray and CT scan, it was found that there was perforation in his stomach.
Yesterday my rheumatologist has finally decided to give me something other than anti-inflammatories and anti-depressants for my list of symptoms which he has decided are due to either Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis (Palindromic Rheumatism was mentioned too) or possibly all of the above, with a side order of Fibromyalgia. the best way is to have the crown removed (drilled off) and redone after the root canal retreatment. I would not recommend trying to "tap" off the crown. the tooth underneath can get damaged (not to mention the crown itself being damaged) and it is difficult to make it seat properly when it is recemented after the retreatment of your root canal. most commonly, root canals are done right through the crown, and then the "hole" is filled in afterwards.

I have an abscess that I have been told was a root canal that needs retreatment (great after spending so much $$ on my crown). The Dr can't get me in for three weeks, so my regular dentist gave me Clindamycin 300MG 3X a day. I have been taking it for four days. Since then my check has gone from no swelling to so swollen I can hardly open my mouth. The pain at the site of the tooth is gone but there is still a lot of pressure above the tooth (#14).
While it is antihistaminics, topical and oral steroids for eczema and antifungal for fungal infection, the treatment of psoriasis that have been approved by FDA are adalimumab and Xtrac Velocity excimer laser system. Apart from that, topical medications like emollients, creams containing coal tar, dithranol, corticosteroids, fluocinonide, vitamin D3 analogues and retinoids have been routinely used.
So before using any treatment it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.

Is retreatment with Infergen realistic after failing one course of Pegintron/Ribavirin AND one very long course (80 weeks) of Pegasys/Ribavirin? Should I wait for the protease inhibitors? One month post treatment with Pegasys 180mcg and Ribavirin 1400mg (increased from 1200 because I kept bouncing between positive and negative), my viral load popped back up to 2.5 million. After Pegintron, it took 6 months to get up to 2.2 million (that was when I tried Pegasys/Ribavirin).
