Next day he was having stomach pain, tight and rigid stomach, and fast breathing. He was immediately admitted in the nearby hospital and doctor found he was suffering from megacolon (toxic colon). After taking x-ray and CT scan, it was found that there was perforation in his stomach.

Yesterday my rheumatologist has finally decided to give me something other than anti-inflammatories and anti-depressants for my list of symptoms which he has decided are due to either Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis (Palindromic Rheumatism was mentioned too) or possibly all of the above, with a side order of Fibromyalgia. Just wondering if anyone here has taken Humira (Adalimumab) as I've read about it and am freaking out a bit!

d this year with Ankylosing spondylitis. Been treating several months with Adalimumab - not terribly impressed. Get better relief from anti-inflammatory and chiropractic. Probably not related to my HCV tx, but find it interesting that Rheumy doc wants me to do PCRs for HCV - even after 12+ years sustained response - while doing the Adalimumab immunosuppressant.

Though non steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAID) and steroids are the gold standard of treatment, more emphasis should be laid on physical and occupational therapy, rest, heat pads and use of assistive devices for walking. Biological response modifiers like etanercept, leflunomide (used less often), adalimumab, or infliximab can be added in consultation with doctor.

They slowed to about 10 minutes. I thought I'd take the tine to put on a little make up. As soon as i sat down, my water broke.

That's what scares me my now 12 year old had RSV and spent 2 weeks in the hospital when he was only 2 weeks old. So after that, we've done our best to keep visitors away from the new babies. His aunt even insists that since I got the flu shot it will be okay for people to visit. But even the CDC has said there are strains of flu going around that the shot may not protect from. But just because I got it doesn't 100% protect my baby.

I had my 37 week appointment today. I'm 2cm and doc said I have a really nice looking cervix. What does this mean??

So my boyfriend seems to think I'm having a boy because he said I'm mean he said if I was having a girl I would be much nicer. However I know that we are all hormonal as is but has any of you ladies notice being just overly mean or nice and also wat are you having. Btw I'm 17w1d with my third and I have 2 boys so I'm hoping for a girl but with both other pregnancies I do recall being mean.
