Is it best to take actos in the morning or evening? I am on metformin and glipized, as well. Is it best to take actos along with these medications to be more effective?

My hubby was dx'ed 2 weeks ago w/ diabetes II. His regular doc put him on 30 mg Actos daily. At 1st hubby's blood sugar was a whopping 390- now it's down to 76-90 in the am and no more than 180 even after lots of sugary food. Obviously the blood sugar is well under control now. The problem is, my husband's vision is going crazy! I know that diabetes can cause vision problems when blood sugar is high, but the way it's happening doesn't make sense.
I felt bloated and full, pain in one specific area on left side, stomach stopped growling, etc. After being off the actos (I still take amaryl and lisinopril) for 3 months I still feel occasional bloating and pain on left side but now I feel like something stuck in my throat. I don't have any trouble swallowing saliva or food/drinks.
I have diabetes ll. My doctor has given me Actos 30 mg. I have been hearing a lot about this drug and none of it's good, saying long term use causes bladder cancer. My last A1c was 6.1 although now due for another one. I'm not sure the risk involved with this drug is worth the benefits as my sugar is not out of control and my numbers are always under 175. Is Actos a safe drug to use??
I am experiencing some weight loss and I am not sure if it due to my sugar, the fact I was taken off Avandia and put on Junovia because I know Avandia increases weight or if something else is happening to me.
Also would high blood sugar like mine lead to sweating, tingling in legs and hands and I almost feel like my body is hot...
Otherwise, my eyes do not visually appear to be crossed; but my vision comes off as such. Is this something that will go away, or should I see an optometrist or physician? Is there anything I can do to improve without seeing a dr.?
If it helps, I have both type 1 and type 2 diabetes and take a whole lot of insulin as well as metformin and actos (also for low HDL). I also have hasimoto's disease.

30am wake up. 2mg Glimepride at 5:00pm before dinner. Take glucose readings just before meds in am and pm. Currently avg 167 in the am and 114 in the pm. Active during the day but little activity during the evening and night. Anyone have information about switching the 30mg Actos + 4mg Glimepride to before dinner and the 2mg Glimepride at wake up in hopes of lowering the morning readings?

I currently take glimepiride 4mg twice daily and actos 15mg once daily. What is the sucess of these two meds. I continue to have high blood sugar levels.
Yes, a PFO can cause fatigue as the blood/oxygen level pumped into circulation may be compromised. More likely, the cause of being tired can be related to low blood sugar and anemia.
Hello~ 33 yr old female w/ PCOS & was diagnosed w/type 2 6 yrs ago. I was not happy & revised my eating habits along w/ taking 500 mg of glucophage 2x daily. It took @ 1 1/2 yr, but I lost 50lbs & my b/s levels dropped to where my dr was took me off glucophage. I did fine & was off glucophage for @ 2 years. I started reverting back to my old eating habits(did manage to stay away from any sugar, my problem was carbs & fast food).
Ask for Actos, I took it for my tyoe II. There are other medications too, talk to your doctor.
Anyway, my blood glucose used to be around the 140 mark then I started taking Actos 30 mg mg., I now take ONLY take 15 mg and my fasting blood sugar is around 110 to 115. I also barely eat in the morning - a cup of yogart and a banana for breakfast, a small turkey sandwhich for lunch. Afternoon I feel I'm having a hypglycemic attack so I have some cookies and coffee or tea (I need the caffeine- I'm dying from fatigue!
court has struck Baraclude from the patent list. The Bristol-Myers Squibb ($BMY) hepatitis B drug saw its composition of matter patent invalidated in a court fight with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries ($TEVA), which wants to sell its own version. The patent had been due to expire in 2015.
It's unclear whether the ruling will expose Baraclude to immediate generic competition.

I take my bolld sugars of a morning fasting and they are like 167-191, I take 1000 mg of janumet and 18 units of lantus before bed, of a morning I take 20 Units of lantus, 45 mg actos why am I having problems regulating my blood sugars, I also take 7 units of novalog after every meal??? Do you have any other sugustions??
Had a carotid ultrasound, a brain eeg and a brain MRI and do not understand my report. Comments say; carotids patent, vertibrals antegrade. What exactly does this mean. I am a 69 yaer old female with no outstanding health isues but have been having lots of dizzeness, jello feeling in my head and waves. Can anyone help me?
