I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.
I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.
i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . But also if you are on osteoporosis medications currently, the medication you are taking could be causing your symptoms. Osteoporosis medications like Raloxifene (Evista), alendronate (Fosomax), risendronate (Actonel) and ibandronate (Boniva) all can cause flu like symptoms in individuals that are taking them. I am not sure what medications you are on, but this could be your problem.
Non-hormonal biphosphonates (such as Fosamax and Actonel) increase bone strength and are available as once-a-week pills. These can also be taken.

I have been diagnoised with a small hiatal hernia. My question is sometimes I get the following symptoms that last for days even weeks. I have a pain in the center of my chest that hurts when you touch it or push on it. It seems like it is muscular. It also hurts when I take a deep breath, again it seem like it is muscular. When I turn from side to side I feel the pain like a pulling in the center of my chest/breastbone area. It feels like there is something stuck in my throat.
My boyfriend is on day 6 of taking no pain killers. He has been on it for years after a shoulder surgery. He has all the symptoms of withdrawal that I have read about. He hasn't told the doctor that he is addicted. Out of all the withdrawal symptoms the sleepless nights is what he can't handle. So he asked for sleeping pills. I first thought it was good idea because all of this is foreign to me but now I think it's a bad idea.

I believe that when I try to stop, I go through symptoms of withdrawal. feeling of gloom and doom, anxiousness, headache, hyper sensitivtiy to smell, panic and anxiety. I have never used drugs, smoked cigs etc.. I have had many major life stressors which is why I was perscribed the medication. My question is what is, our my symptoms because life is truely getting more difficult? or am I going through withdrawal? ug.. any input appreciated.
Oh god. Geodon has horrible withdrawal symptoms for most people who take it even after a short period of time. I hear it's like trying to come off of hard drugs. If you're lucky you won't have any withdrawal but I'm guessing you are by the nature of your question by asking how long your withdrawal should last. I unfortunately can't answer how long it will last from personal experience but I've heard it can last four weeks.
Do not take methadone that has a very long half life and really has the longest withdrawal symptoms out of anything. Next to herion that is. Subs also have a 72 hour half life so also very long withs.
