Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

I take 150 mg a day of the generic, and it holds my HR in the 80s to 90s when at rest. My blood pressure is normally acceptable, so it is on the low side with the medication.

I want to learn everything I can to stay well...I try to read up on the condition I am diagnosed with to be informed.. the more I read ,...the more I see that these meds are used to treat bipolar disorder....I am starting to suspect that I am not getting the right diagnosis or that the psychiatrists are not telling me everything.
today im dropping back to 2 and try that,i hust feel like since i was on 150 mg sr twice a day that 2 of the xl might work...im on my 3rd day of no prozac..i read on line where the 450 mg is not unusual..i may need that much with out the prozac..i dont know i just want my sexx liofe back..the hormones and thyroid problem was finally found and i believe thats whats been going on all these years,not depresssion.

My doc gave me Ritalin for ADD and Effexor for depression but this last one gave me too many side effects and I stopped taking it. Now he switched me to Wellbutrin (150 mg once a day) and 30 mg Ritalin. I have felt sick but am not sure if it is the withdrawal effects from stopping Effexor or the mixture of Wellbutrin and Ritalin. I feel brain spasms, especially in the back of my head. Like you i am on Wellbutrin 150 mg amd 20mg of Prozac i do well on both have been for 2 yrs now. The prozac makes me tired i tried no prozac and 1 wellbutrin in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. You should find a good doctor. I was mugged and started having severe anxiety problems. My doctor made me feel better almost immediately...simply because I realized I wasn't crazy! My doctor slowly prescribed the generic version of Zoloft. I'm up to 150 mg. He also prescribed Clonazepam on an as-needed basis for panic attacks. Checking my bottles of prescription medications I find the CCB I am taking is a generic of Diltiazem, or maybe that is the generic. I currently take the normal release at 120 mg twice a day. I started on SR 240 once a day, but the regular release is much less expensive. I've done the same with Metoprolol, I thak 25 mg twice a day rather than a 50 mg SR once a day.

I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.
I was taking 40 mg prozac, 60 mg dexedrine, and taking xanex as needed. I just changed the prozac to 150 mg effexor, because my Insurance co. wouldn't let me continue getting brand name prozac (the generic brand didn't work the same. I had no problem changing over to effexor, no withdrawal effects from prozac. What made you get off the meds? That's wonderful you are no longer depressed. I don't think I will ever get off the anti-depressants.
My daughter was on 120mg Armour which is suppose to equal 130 mg Naturthroid. Instead, we are on 195 mg (1 whole grain more) We however started with the recommended amount and have had to work our way up slowly by adding 1/2 grain every week or so. We will stick with this dose (3 pills) one 65mg. tablets given three x per day at 4 hour intervals, until labs in three weeks.Anxious to see results.
I started with 100 mg of flecanide at the onset. After awhile I was prescribed 150 mg, then eventually 150 mg twice daily. That has usually controlled the afib. Occassionally (approximately 4-6 times per year my afib while start inspite of the regular dose of flecanide. Recently, after an episode of afib, my pulse stayed up (100 plus) for a couple of hours. My blood pressure is typically not high. It was after this episode that my Dr. suggested Toprol.
Zoloft always made me sleepy when I took it so my doc changed me to Wellbutrin but only on 150 mg to start with. 300 mg was way too much (at least for me) to start off with. It made me sweat and I was jittery all the time. So he brought me back down to 150 mg. Maybe you should talk to your dr and see if he can drop your mg and see if that helps. If not you might want to try some other form of anti-depressant.
