Wish my face was nice like other pregnant women.

i broke out when i got preggo and i really want a boy. my obgyn told me most people with bous do get acne because testosterone is the acne hormone..

I've been using a moisturiser that contains less than 3% salicylic acid for acne. Would this affect fertility? The reason I am asking is because DH and I are TTC and we haven't had any luck in the past 3 cycles. We got pregnant immediately (seriously, within a week I knew I was pregnant) with our first child. I never used the moisturiser before because I didn't have acne but my last pregnancy really messed up my skin BIG TIME.

ve been making sure I clean my face 3 times a day, morning noonish and before bed. I then use clearasil vanishing acne cream. It works good! I have noticed, that the oil from my face gets on my pillow case and if I don't wash it twice a week, I break out more. So try washing or changing your pillow case more, and flip your pillow maybe. I have way through the week after I have used both sides for two nights each, just throw a towel over my pillow and sleep on it.

I have never had acne my whole Life! Now that im pregnant iv had horrible acne. It started from the very beginning, and im 17 weeks!! What do can I do?

I've never had acne but since I've been pregnant my face has been breaking out left & right. I wash my face every morning & every night as well with a face scrub from clinic & nothing is working.

Never used to get spots but as soon as i fell pregnant i got loads, im 21 weeks now and my skins pretty clear so it should go so dont worry about it just use spot cream for now

My dr says your not supposed to use benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid it's bad for you but that's what we need to fight acne...I have been battling cystic acne my whole pregnancy and it's not pretty my little girl has stolen all my beauty...I use aveeno foam wash because it only has a 0.5 salicylic in it and I also put aloe Vera on my face. I use Neutrogena oil free face wash with acne free benzoid spot cream on my face but my back is a lost cause. I combine sallycilic acid treatments with benzoid so it kills a ton.

So what is good for breakouts while your pregnant I am having some horrible acne breakouts the past few weeks.

Hi, I do understand your concern. For some women, they may present with rash or acne on their faces during pregnancy. Hormones may play a role here.
