Im in desperate need of some home remedies that will take care of the acne on my forehead. It is so embarrassing and annoying! I am used to using astringent and other topical ointments from my dermatologist but since becomming pregnant ive stopped since some products can be dangerous. Ive asked this question before but have yet been successful at getting rid of it.. any suggestions would help greatly! Currently i am using clean and clear for sensitive skin.
Some women just get really bad acne when they're pregnant. It's the hormones, and sorry but I don't know how to get rid of it:( I've been blessed with really good skin this pregnancy, but my aunt is 40 and she just had a baby last year and broke out really bad when she was pregnant. Nothing she did got rid of the bumps but as soon as the baby was born they went away.
Hey current and future mommies!!! So I have never really had acne before (just a couple pimples here and there) but as soon as I got pregnant, it's as if my body decided to become a teenage boy! I'm full of acne on my face, down my neck and even on my back! I feel horrible and disgusting! It's like my face chemistry has changed it feels tougher, oily and out of no where my pores are huge!!! Help! I'm 8 weeks pregnant, does this ever go away and when?!?

I have read up on acne while pregnant and I've only found a few things. They have the common sense things like do not pick, washed twice a day, if you have oily hair wash everyday,rinse with warm water, and avoid some medications and over the counter products because they can be harmful to the baby. I have not found any home remedies on how to treat acne naturally. About the only thing that I have found is coconut oil but I do not know where to get it.
Hi everyone! I'm looking for natural remedies like supplements and vitamins that are best for combatting it. I've heard saw palmetto and licorice helps, but I wanted to know what you ladies use personally and what works best. I have hirsutism, terrible acne and I am overweight. I also believe I am prediabetic, as my grandmother on my father's side had diabetes and my mother, so it runs in both sides of the family.
After two years of moderate to severe cystic acne (but a lifetime of mild acne punctuated by spurts of cystic acne), I have noticed two things-While I'm in my late 30's, "hormonal" acne treatments etc. DON'T WORK and powerful anitbiotics work FAST & best. My most recent expereinces: using a sulfa based drug for non-skin infections has almost obliterated cystic acne in 4, yes 4 days!!!!!!

I recently read about a genetic test called AcneDX that tests whether or not oral antibiotics will be an effective acne treatment. My teenaged daughter has moderate acne and tetracycline has been suggested. I'm concerned about giving her a medication that may have side effects and produce an antibiotic resistance later in her life, and it may not even work to clear her acne up. The test sounds like a great way to find out prior to treatment if the antibiotics will help.

Obviously many products are not safe and I already know to ask my doctor before I use any chemicals or natural remedies. Just wondering if anything has been approved for you and what you have tried that works. I wash my face twice a day and follow with moisturizer but my face is getting worse. I'm 12 weeks btw.
