I am 20 years old I was using accutane for 6 months, I was supposed to have a small surgery in my pelvis while on the drug but my doctor told me to wait and he explained that no surgery should be performed because the drug does indeed interfere with wound healing in fact he recommended to get the surgery 6 months after I have been off the drug but you should definitely ask her doctor/surgeon about it and get a better opinion ...wish you and your daughter the best.

I believe I am pregnant: I had been taking accutane for several months during the month of may and june 2009 i had been forgetting to take the meds, i was taking them every other day. We never heard that some people who used accutane also developed keloids. He never had then before using accutane. He says now he wishes they never put him on it and he just dealt with having the acne he had back then. I feel bad for him. He lets it effect his life. He sees it as worse then others would see it but there is not convincing him of this. He tried the shots. They didn't do anything. Did the laser work for you? Keep positive.

my girlfriend got pregnant 2 months after taking accutane. we dont want to have an abortion. and we were wondering what the chances were that the baby was ok. the box says that 1 month after you are off accutane it is out of your system. she is 15 and in athletics. she runs everyday and we were wondering if that sped up the amount of time in which the accutane got out of her system. can anyone help me? she got off at the end of january and we think she got pregnant at the end of may.

For me my cycle got used to my body having Accutane so when I stopped taking it my body's cycle was messed up BECUASE it was used to me taking it, so that might happen to you your body just probably isn't used to the fact your off it now

Hi, I'm on accutane. This is my third time on it. I take 40 mg alternating 80 mg every other day. I've been taking it for 4 months now. After taking it for a month and a half I've been getting rashes on my face.. It is fleshed colored and doesn't itch. In the beginning I would use a steroid cream and it would go away very quickly but not anymore. I use cetaphil cream on my face twice daily. I have not changed and products that I use on my face, nor laundry detergent.
