For the past four days, I have been urinating blood, and not oh it's pink, It is completely opaque red. I have no pain at all... is this a kidney infection, or something more serious like kidney failure, or a tumor I don't know at this point I'm on Topamax, Wellbuitrin, and Fluoxetine Thank you for any suggestions or tips or comparable stories, and yes I'm going to the dr. I would like to know what to expect.

Hi, If you have not been given a firm diagnosis of BP and you dont sound like you have BP if you don't have mood swings then I'm assuming that the main problem here is the addiction to sex and the problems with your pupils? Correct me if this summary is incorrect :-) I am no expert on sex addiction but have heard that cognitive behaviour therapy is a way towards dealing with that. As for medications to control it, I have no idea, certainly nothing I've read springs to mind at the moment.

I read side effets of drugs like Depakote, Lamactil, Abilify and Seroquel and blanch and yet people who look at Lithium see it as scary... May be that I am biased because it works for me but its nothing to be scared of.

As long as you have a good doctor though, they are probably prescribing what you need, maybe medicines won't have the same affect on you as it does some people. There are probably many people who take it and have no problems. Good luck whatever you decide with your health issues!

My girlfriend is experiencing intense abdominal pains and is both vomiting and urinating blood. She also feels weak and fatigued and when I asked her to grab some water she was afraid she'd fall on the way. She says there's a lot of blood and it's dark in color. She is also sweating a lot and she's going into deep sleep which I can't wake her up when I usually can (I am talking to her on a web camera though). My blood pressure and cholesterol are perfect too, im very healthy and i work out too. Rather than doing what I did, you may want to dump the SSRI's and SNRI meds as well as the Mood stabilizing meds like Lamictal and Abilify. Lamictal and Abilify never seem to work very well for us Uni-polar folks. I have tried them before with my AD meds just as a booster and mood stabilizer and I have found that Eskalith 450cr works the best for a booster type effect on AD meds such as SSRI's, SNRI's and Tri-cyclics.
