Avatar n tn First of all it starts out as a "social " thing as it did for me ,then u start to crave it more and more,then it starts to change your thinking,weird stuff called paranoia.It only brings you pain and misery,it is very psychological addicting.I tried for 2 yrs to get off it and I lost everybody and everything I used to live in a 2200 sq ft hs and I ended up living on the streets,Gave up my child and did things I will not mention here.

I would like to know how many days should I wait before I can start smoking again. I am a smoker and smoke between 5 to 10 cigarettes a day. I stopped because of the surgery. Only smoked 3 to 5 a day for 1 month before the surgery. Been smoking since the age of 13 and now I am 30. Please doctor answer my question. I know Doctors hate smokers.

Avatar f tn I have stopped too (nearly, but not 100%) after 50 yrs of smoking...the damage is done but its so nice to breath a little better and not be CHAINED to cigarettes. is that Jun 4 of this year you stopped? like 4 days ago? I more or less quit in Jan. but have picked up a few packs and smoked them slowly than quit again....so don't really know what day I'm on anymore, jsut that I hate the taste of them and desperately want to stop....
