U.S. FDA and Health Canada Grant Priority Reviews for Telaprevir for the Treatment of Hepatitis C

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (Nasdaq: VRTX) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted the New Drug Application (NDA) for telaprevir and granted the company's request for six-month Priority Review.
I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
I'm suffering from horrible neck pain and back pain due to a car accident 2/2011. I find when my neck pain gets real bad I hang my head off the side of the bed/couch to make it feel better. It works really well, of course...only temporary. Anyone have one? Use it for what pain/injury? What model do you have? My Chiroprator is not thrilled about a lot of the models. I'm going to ask my PT on next week too.
Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
You have probably seen this type of question several times. I am heterosexual male in mid 40s in canada. I hade exposure with a couple of CSW on april8, 2011. It was vaginal, no oral. I dont know why but it happened. This was first time it happened like that. Anyway I had STd and HIV tests done as follows:
1. HIV1/2, SYPHILLIS, HEPA,B,C, CHLAMYDIA AND GONORREAH AT 28 DAY(4 WEEKS) ON MAY6, 2011.
THAY WERE ALL NEGATIVE. HIV WAS 3RD GEN ELISA.

I was diagnosed in 2009 with Chiari and was seeing Dr Hamilton/Dr Urbaneja at Calgary Foothills. My last MRI was 2011. The recommended treatment was to follow the symptoms. Last year I called for a follow up as it was 10 years and wondering if my symptoms were worsening. Was told they wouldn’t need to see me unless I had neuropathy to the extent of burning my hands and not being able to feel it. Looking for someone that I can trust.
Got mine from Walmart. Target and Burlington have nice ones too. But They are expensive in general. I gotmine for about 130 which was pricey for me. I do know if you have a registry with target a few months before you're due they give you 15% off coupons. Which definitely helps. make sure you also read reviews and even look into ones you're interested on on YouTube. Ppl post reviews and demos.
I had never heard of it before and the reason being is that it is new. I found some reviews on it and they look pretty good.I am worried about long term side effects since its not old enough to determine whether there are any but this is our last shot but weighing the fact that I cant even keep my vitamins or any food down I dont see how it can be any worse than depriving the little one of nutrients.right?? So cross your fingers hopef ully it will make this home stretch easier!!
s try new drugs that just became available in Canada . so now we need to get more info , to wait 2 ,4 or 6 mos before starting vectrills, because it has only been in canada for 2 months not much is known any ideas ?

Prolonged antiviral treatment results in selection and accumulation of resistant strains in quasispecies pool in hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.
Objectives
The aim of this study was to characterise a novel HBV pattern which shows resistance to lamivudine, adefovir dipivoxil and entecavir using in vitro phenoyping assay.
