Avatar f tn My 5 year old stepdaughter has to use a booster seat by law here, my 3 year old is in a toddler car seat and now with the little one due any time we have to figure how to squeeze the base and infant seat into there too. We have a 4-door Hyundai sonata. Short of taking off a door I'm pretty stuck on what the heck to do here. lol. Anybody else found to trick to make it all fit safely???
Avatar f tn I already have 3 kids so we have a seater hyundai trajet..
Avatar m tn does anyone have an idea about the second drug and any other info would be appreciated.i cleared the virus in 2011 after the standard interferon riba 6 mos course of drugs, but it came back 1 month later (genotype 2) thanks Curt.
Avatar f tn I pray for my mother because last night they stole her car. It was a ford fusion and that was my moms only car, and it was a prize to her from herself rewarding all the hard work shes done... I hope they find it and I cant wait till we move. We dont live in a bad negiborhood, just not the best. If I had a job ill help her in any way I could.
Avatar f tn I had a Chevy Equinox and hubby has a Ford F150... I'm going to have them both on the sides... toddler car seat behind driver so there is more room and baby car seat behind passenger seat...
Avatar m tn I am looking for a surgical solution, not a remaining opiate style of life. A current Discography in 1/2011 however is POSITIVE & referring Ortho "will now" perform surgery as medical proof is there, even though the 09' MRI clearly shows the DDD in above levels. Million $ question is now: Ortho v. Neuro Surgeon? I have been told I have a healthy and strong spine. And we all know Ortho is bone & Neuro is nerve, right? And it is the nerve telling my brain to pain me.
Avatar n tn I have a bulging disc in my neck and my doctor wants to do a spinal fusion but I really don't want that. I've read alot of bad things about fusions. I was just wondering if anyone or know anyone who has had artifical disc replacement.
Avatar f tn The hubs and I just bought a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe! I'm in love!
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar n tn So talk to your Dr. ask them when they want to do a forth one vs. a fusion and weight your options, because as you have read a fusion doesn't always work.

Avatar n tn i had a 3level fusion l-2 thru l-5 in april 06' and hardware removal and a l-5 & s-1 fusion in sept07' because after the first fusion in 06' i got sacrum pains bad and in the left leg. i found a nerve block dr. before doing them he ordered a ct milogram. dr called me said i did need the sacral joint injection, but ct also showed all 4 level fusions failed. my ? is next now what ? have it refused or just leave it. and if i do will it cause me problems in the future?
Avatar f tn Last march 2011 my husband had cervical fusion. The next day I brought him home from the hospital. We were home 5 minutes and he said he couldn't,t breathe, call an ambulance. He died but they paddled him back. He now has both of his vocal chords paralyzed and has difficulty swallowing food. He saw an ent who said wait a year might get better. It didn't,t. He even went to speech or voice therapy with no help. He is miserable. Is there any hope for him.
516865 tn?1224207354 The one recommending the discectomy with fusion looks at it aggressively. However, laminoplasty is a quicker procedure with less morbid side effects, while discectomy with fusion is a longer procedure which may have more peri-operative risk. This is one aspect to think about, however, I suggest you discuss this more in depth with your surgeons.
Avatar f tn He did talk of surgery of the disc above fusion by replacing it. I am adding the impression of MRI back in 2011 and hope to get some advise or thoughts on where I stand. My fear of where I will be in another 10yrs. L1-L2 there is minimal diffuse disc bulge w/out significant central canal or neural foraminal narrowing. L2-L3 no disc space abnormality is identified L3-L4 there is no disc bulge or herniation. Minimal facet joint degeneration changes are noted.
Avatar n tn D congrats!!
Avatar n tn I have the same type situation where the transverse process hits the sacrum and also hits the illium forming a pseudo joint at those 2 locations. My fusion in 1982 made the problem way way worse .... the fusion of the L6-S1 lumbo segment is solid with the sacrum, but the transverse process made a false joint with the ilium also, and since the L6-S-1 segment is solidly fused to the sacrum it allows more movement between the transverse process and the ilium now post fusion surgeries.
Avatar f tn another option is to get your doctor to prescribe something specifically for insomnia such as ambien, sonata or trazodone. discuss over the counter options with him such as benadryl and others available. lastly, its great to hear YOU know what works best for YOU. don't discount that.
Avatar m tn I'm about to have an artificial disc replacement in my neck. I've had cervical and lumbar fusion and am glad I did. (don't know why so many are afraid of surgeries). I know doctors are leery about giving pain meds to patients, as well they should be, but there are instances where it's necessary. My question is why do I get nausious when I take hydrocodone and not when I've taken oxycodone? I asked an er doctor for oxycodone instead of hydrocone and told him why.
Avatar m tn Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
