zyrtec d generic

I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.

Thanks, Selma. I do take the zyrtec at night, but I guess it is not enough. Last time I was at the doctor he told me to take claritin-D in the morning and zyrtec at night. I really didn't want to try the claritin-D because it is a decongestant and they make me feel crazy and just seem to drain everything into my chest. Maybe I can ask about taking regular claritin in the morning and zyrtec at night. May I ask what you are and were taking?

I am allergic to pcn. I am taking Depo Perva injection, Zyrtec-D qhs, Fluticasone 16GM bid (generic for Flonase,) Nitrofurantion100MG qhs (generic for Macrodantin,) & Ibuprofen 200MG as needed for inflammation.I have been experiencing almost constant swelling of my hands accompanied w/ an intermittent tingling sensation. Yes, I asked my midwife if claritin is ok. She said yes, as well as zyrtec and benadryl.

My 5 year old has been picking her scabs on and off for a year now. She seems to have seasonal allergies also. I have noticed when she is on generic Zyrtec for the allergies she doesn't pick as much or stops all together. If you have an allergist call and all them. I believe you can take ceterizine it is the generic of zyrtec i believe and it's class b. Or over the counter chlortrymeton(spelling) id what my OB suggested for my allergies when they were driving me nuts.

Am I taking them at the right times? The Zyrtec makes me sleepy, so I take it at night...I suspect that the Lisinopril may be making me sleepy, too, or maybe slightly light-headed (?), but I still take it in the morning; Here is my list: Morning - Lisinopril, fish oil cap, Vitamin C, Calcium chew (with Vitamin D and Vitamin K added), Flonase. Noon - Multivitamin (Centrum Silver generic) and Vitamin A cap. Night - Zyrtec, fish oil, Vitamin C, and Calcium chew.

Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. Hi, it sounds like you have had quite an ordeal with these allergies! i also have allergies, but mine were bad enough that i developed asthma and had to go on several medications to get it under control, now i only take zyrtec as needed. i don't know about allergies that are "digested first" with zyrtec, everyone has different reactions- but zyrtec is systemic so it should be help equally with your sore throat and itching.

t know of any problem with taking Zyrtec-D with Plavix. You can also read your medication leaflets with the medications to check or check with your pharmacist. If you are being treated for high blood pressure or heart disease/vascular problem, I would NOT recommend taking the Zyrtec-D WITHOUT discussing this with your physician.

I was currently on clyndomisin for a tooth infection as well. Sometimes over the counter Zyrtec generic for allergies. Other than that I have no idea where these results came from. The doctor uses a in home lab called "infinity lab" so I refused to take these results when I have never used such medication in my life. I made her send the next to lab foto. It started with my hands and feet and then moved to the rest of my body. I took some zyrtec and it gets better but comes back. Now it is mainly my scalp and head/face. I was told by my doctor that you can take just about anything but to stay away from the d. Take Claritin but not Claritin D, etc... Look for that d word on any sinus or allergy meds.

He also recommended a generic Zyrtec for the tougher days or seasons, and baby and I are fine at 24 weeks. Healthy mama makes healthy baby in most cases, so don't be afraid to discuss this with your doctor even before you conceive.

Hello, Antihistamines are pretty benign. I take more than the daily recommended dose per doctor's orders every day. Unless you are taking Zyrtec-D, which it sounds like you know not to do, it won't be a problem. I would go ahead and take a plain Zyrtec. God bless.

I am a major allergy sufferer! Clarifying and Zyrtec are safe to take. However! Do not get the ones with the "D" added onto them (claritin d) because that is either not studied enough yet or not recommended. I take claritin as needed. "They" say it might be bad for allergies this spring with the late start. Exercise indoors. Take care and hopeb this is helpful. We are also allowed Benadryl but that you would need to call about. ...

I would call your doctor. I know plain Zyrtec is fine to take, but I'm not clear on Zyrtec-D. I believe the only difference is that it has Pseudoephedrine in it, but I'm not 100% and your doctor would be the safest to ask. You should just be able to call and ask and find out over the phone.

I have used patanol in the past but the eye Dr is now recommending patasol which is very expensive. I want to try Zyrtec d instead of Zyrtec which gives me some releif. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

My 12 year old daughter was just diagnosed today with this. I read the other posts relating thyroid problems with autoimmune urticaria. Since I have hypothyroidism, I'm guessing that she should be tested for this at her regular doctor's office? Right now all I can afford is the double dose of Zyrtec, but with everything else she's allergic to (7 types of trees, 3 molds, ragweed, cat, feathers,dust mites & roaches of course) the allergy shots would be better for her, right?
