For an objective assessment,it is best to have this discharge examined and cultured to rule out any underlying infections. Do you have any bouts of repeated urinary tract infections before? Any problems with urination ? Any changes in urinary pattern lately? This should not be a cause of worry .I understand this concerns you. A complete physical examination by your physician incuding a digital rectal examination to evaluate the prostate may be necessary.

It is a normal phenomenon is men. Other causes for a white discharge could be urinary tract infections, STIs, bladder disturbances etc. Each of these conditions would be associated with other symptoms like burning sensation on passing urine in urinary tract infections, groin lymph node swellings in certain sexually transmitted infections. It is suggested to get evaluated by a urologist. Keep me posted. Best luck and regards!
So about 4 years ago when I was 16 I ended up with my first urinary tract infection, the doctors put me on phenazo and Primsol, this helped for one month then sure enough it was back again, I think at that point they put me on Macrobid and once again in a couple weeks it was gone. (by the way I'm a female) Then sure enough after a little over a year it came back, on and off it kept coming back, 8 times straight in 6 months I had that burning, the blood, the discomfort, and frequent urination.

Dogs will lick the perivulvar area if they have vaginitis or a urinary tract infection. They don't need a uterus to get these infections. Since she is a white dog it is easier to see the saliva staining. You should bring her to the vet soon. Bring a fresh urine sample when you go to help the vet differentiate between a UTI and vaginal infection.
What you describe could be from a number of things - including a prostate issue, a urinary tract infection, or a sexually transmitted disease (like chlamydia). Have you spoken to your doctor about this yet?
For me, thick off white very slightly yellowish discharge is normal for me. Has been this way all my life. Recently it has been the same, but with the occasional clump of opaque thick off white mucus like material. It it's not fertile discharge in the least. It is entirely too clump like and not very stretchy, though it's obviously different from the regular sort I have. The only way I can explain it, grossly enough, is like something you'd cough up with a chest infection.
Im 30 weeks + pregnant, and well I was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection because the baby is sitting so low on my bladder, and they prescribed me some antibiotics. Now because I am on these antibiotics, I got a yeast infection, and they prescribed me canesten 3. The 3 vaginal tablets and the cream.

Men have a small amount of normal genital discharge which comes from different places in the genito-urinary tract including the prostate. These secretions vary in amount and over time and are most apparent in the morning on awakening. Further, your situation suggests that your secretions are prostatic in origin as it is not uncommon for straining at stool to elicit expression of prostatic fluid which tends to be clear an a bit sticky. 4.

Hi. Yes, this sounds like a urinary tract infection. UTI may very well involve the prostate. Prostatitis may present with pain in the perineal area (area between the scrotum and the anus). The area may be tender or reddish . A urinalysis, urine and prostatic secretion cultures are necessary to guide treatment. A complete physical examination including a digital rectal examination may be necessary. A transrectal ultrasound may be able to assess the involvement of the prostate.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. I think you are suffering from urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infections can occur due bacterial infections, fungal infections, sexually transmitted diseases etc. Cloudy urine can occur due to urinary tract infections, proteinuria, kidney or ureteral stones, infections to the kidney and in renal failure. Urinary tract infections cause burning sensation while passing urine, back pain, urethral discharge, fever, chills and blood in the urine.
While trying to uriniate, I noticed some white vaginal discharge, but I just assumed it was the Metro gel. I drank more water and urinating was no longer a problem. All of this happened last night and I wore a pad to bed, in case it was just my menstrual cycle. This morning, I woke up and went to the bathroom and noticed more bloody vaginal discharge, but no blood on my pad. Help! What is this discharge about?
I have been for STD checks and all clear so far.
If it is present, the discharge may either have a starchy odor to it, or perhaps none at all, and its color can vary from white to a more yellowish tinge. Since not everyone gets the discharge, the easiest way for a woman to tell that she has a yeast infection is that she itches in and around her vagina. A lot. The itchiness may be accompanied by a burning sensation, and her vulvar area can be red and swollen.

HI THERE i have posted about this a million times but im still searching for answers. Thick, white, odourless discharge that comes out in HUGE AMOUNTS, especially while having a bowel movement. Doctors/gynos/sex health have tested for ALL STDS repeatedly, mycoplasma, allergies, celiac, hiv, strep, diabetes ALL NEGATIVE. it is smooth and thick like hair conditioner- recently showed positive for candida glabrata- but was showing neg for first few months- currently showing neg again.
I have had a white vaginal discharge (with no distinguishing smell)for almost a week now. I tried Monistat 1 even though I've never had a yeast infection and I know I should've gone to the Dr first. It has been 3 days now and there has been no change or improvement in the discharge. The thing is I haven't had any itching or burning. Though the inside of my vagina appears swollen but not sore. I also seem to be urinating like crazy and definitely have less control of my bladder.
Symptoms had been present for 6 days, so naturally, I went to see my Internist (yesterday) and he performed a DRE, prostate was found normal. Had urinalysis, no blood, discharge and white count was normal. Everything else was also normal, BP, heart rate, lungs, etc; Ruled out STD's, I have not been sexually active in 5-6 months (unfortunately) and have not engaged in un-protected sex for years. He prescribed 500mg Cipro (7 days) and Flomax 0.04mg once daily.
