Common Questions and Answers about Waiting after eating to exercise

eating

Avatar n tn Is it normal to not want to eat after exercising? I always feel sick after I exercise and I just don't feel the need to eat until about two hours later. I just don't feel it's healthy. I also almost never eat before. Is that bad too?
Avatar m tn Further to this, i just went on a 10 mile cycle ride, up one of the hills i got out of the saddle to go up the hill a bit quicker, i started to get a tightness off left of the centre of my chest, the harder I went the worse it got, it wasnt paintful just tightness. So obviously i held back a bit, slightly concerned. Just got home and feel faint.
Avatar f tn After i eat or exercise palps get pretty severe they knock the wind out of me. When i exercise i get dizzy tired and kinda faint. I also have been to a cardio and they said everything was ok besides the arrythmias bradicardia and pvcs. But i didnt have these before i cant explain what it is but a guy described his the same and he had heart blockage with all the same testbi had and the only test that showed it was an angiogram. How could i know that i dont have blockages?
Avatar f tn The healthy choices you make to eat before running, same as after running. Just spend some cool down time. Whole grains, beans. Low fat dairy & plenty of fresh vegetables & fruits. Maybe a physical check up at the Dr too.
Avatar n tn Sounds like hypoglycemia to me. You'll feel the sugar dropping ...even before it's below 70. I take insulin, and this would happen to me if I still had breakfast insulin in me, and if I was exercising more vigorously than usual. You are describing a timing problem: you just ate, but the food hasn't had a chance to be digested and raise your blood sugar. So right after eating, most food hasn't done anything yet.
Avatar f tn I'm 3 weeks pp, and at my 2 weeks check up my dr cleared me for light exercise. She said mainly walking at this point. There's no rush, your body is still healing from a big event, and trying to push it will just make it take longer to get back to before. Maybe try taking baby out in a stroller for a walk when its warm enough.
Avatar f tn ve heard you have to wait atleast 6 weeks to exercise. . Some say you have to wait a year because you can re-open the incision when exercising. .. What are your opinions for those who had a csection before.. I don't see my doctor untill july 25th Also, I feel really good .
Avatar f tn I used to be active, but a lot changed in my life and I was unable to find the time to exercise (worked 2 jobs to support a family) and no money for the healthier food choices. Ever since then, I have lost any motivation to lose weight or eat right and exercise. I have a 1 year old now and I packed on too much weight when I was pregnant. I do not feel comfortable with my body and I need yo get rid of this unhealthy mindset. What have been some things that have helped you?
Avatar f tn Aerobic exercises would be good, such as walking, stair stepping, dancing, and biking. These exercises help your heart and body to stay healthy. Yoga is another form of exercise to try also. Women, as a rule, do not "bulk" up muscle like men do; however, you will increase lean body muscle mass as you tone up the body’s muscles. When you start exercising, measuring your waist is a better indicator then the weight scale.
446896 tn?1237802742 m wondering if any of you have found the answers to your bouts of tachycardia after eating and upon waking in the morning. I am a 30 year old female, in OK shape, very healthy weight, and no real health problems. I have had a normal EKG and a 48 hour holter monitor with unremarkable results in the last 6 months, and I have no known major health issues.
Avatar f tn I have the heat allergy reaction and one time had exercise induced anaphalaxis. I went out to dinner, came home to exercise, took 2 excedrin and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the reaction. Eating then excercising or taking med like excedrin then excercising can bring it on. I now carry an epi-pen and benydryl with me.
Avatar n tn I go to the gym 3-5 times a week doing weights and running but noticed after my run when i use the hand grips to mesure my BPM mine jumps between 110 and 180 for the first few mins before settling at around 130 then slowing down. I normaily do 3 miles run and put the speed down to about 3.5mph to cool down and use the BPM reader.
Avatar n tn Any body eating healthy?! Am 27s and 1d and I'd like to starting healthy and exercise.. But I don't now if its a good idea.. Any advice?!
Avatar n tn She can exercise while she is pregnant, but she needs to ask the doctor about her specific routine to see if it's all ok. The doctor will be able to tell her what she can/can't do. As for after, I'd wait until the six week check up she'll get before doing exercise, so her body has time to heal~~~that's if it's a vaginal birth. She's better off waiting longer if she ends up with a c-section.
Avatar n tn my belly swell too much after eating below the umbrical cord and is hard when pressed.what is the cause of the swelling.
Avatar n tn What is the recommeded way to treat this? I find giving an insulin bolus and eating something helps but would like to avoid the whole situation from happening!
Avatar f tn Yes breastfeeding can help you lose weight. However eating right is a huge factor. Go on walks too. Little exercise is better than no exercise.
14991338 tn?1447193706 I do and probably always will get anxious when i exercise, almost asif im waiting for something to happen. Things like what happened to fabrice muamba dont help, knowing he had similar scans and didnt have symptoms and he was given the all clear. I have symptoms and have been given the clear. My heart doesnt necessarily feel out of whack or overly fast when this happens. But its like almost every workout now. Is this post workout anxiety?
