ultracet

Avatar m tn re trying to achieve in my lumbar. So... is the Celebrex/Ultracet combination really something to worry about? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Ultracet is a straight up 37.5 tramadol and 325 acitomitophene(sp?
Avatar n tn ultracet it highly addictive as well. The withdrawl is VERY bad .
Avatar m tn ing on opiates) throws the opiates off of the receptors and puts you into withdrawal and blocks the binding of opiates to the receptors. Ultracet is tramadol and tylenol. Tramadol is addictive, though, in that it can actually give you seizures if you suddenly stop taking it. Everyone reacts differently to medication, but I've never heard of anyone being signifigantly eased of pain by an Ultracet. Best of luck with the PT! That's probably your best shot.
Avatar n tn IVE BEEN TAKEING ULTRACET ABOUT 20 OR MORE A DAY FOR ABOUT A MONTH RAN OUT THIS MORNIGN I USUALLY WAKE UP AND TAKE 10 RIGHT AWAY IM OUT AND IM VERY NERVOUS FEELING AND SHACKY AND MY STOMACH HURTS AND I HAVE SEVER CRAVEING WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME !!!!
Avatar m tn t know the spelling but it is the ingredient in regular over counter tylenol times 3 plus Tramadol. The main ingredient in Ultram is Tramadol but there is a difference. When you are prescribed straight Tram it is w/out the tylenol. Apparently when taken together (Ultram prescription) the tramadol works faster and longer. It becomes more potent when you mix the two. It speeds up the tramadol effect if you will.
Avatar f tn so i will not even think twice again about starting ultracet--i dont want to get hooked on another substance in addition to the vicodin. not to mention, i felt NOTHING from it.... zero... it didnt even take away the headache i had.....i guess thats a good thing. ?? I have been getting vicodins from my primary care doc, for years, for chronic back pain.I dont have pain anymore and got addicted to the energy and motivation , kept saying my back still hurt, and the vikes just kept on coming......
Avatar m tn Ultracet needs to be tapered. How much were you taking a day?
Avatar f tn Hey any one awake yet....I have a question...the doc. now has put me on ultracet...it says 37.5 5/325....i had to take 2 yesterday over the cource of 12 hours...my questions is i'm reading that ppl are becoming addicted...i dont understand how....they dont make me feel high.....however the pain is better..not completely gone but better...so my ? is why are ppl getting addicted taking 10-15-20 a day if they dont get you high...can someone enlighten me.
Avatar f tn was your tramadol presription for ULTRAM or ULTRACET? If it is/was UltraCET, that contains acetaminophen (tylenol) as well as the tramadol, so therefore, if you took additional tylenol with it, you could have gotten too much of the tylenol ingredient, which could make you sick (and cause liver damage if continued).
Avatar f tn Anyone out there that can feel me in on Ultracet experiences? My doctor put me on this instead of Hydrocodone today and said that since I take Effexor XR that there is a possibility of seizures. I have researched this since and have read all the medical info but would like to hear from real people and their experiences. I have take Hydrocodone since April of last year, 1 or 2 5/500 a day on average and rarely 3 or 4. There are some days that I have not needed it but most days I do.
Avatar f tn , electric-shock-like sensations throughout the body, paresthesias, sweating, palpitations, restless legs syndrome, sneezing, insomnia, tremors, and headache among others. In most cases, tramadol withdrawal will set in 12–20 hours after the last dose, but this can vary. Tramadol withdrawal lasts longer than that of other opioids; seven days or more of acute withdrawal symptoms can occur as opposed to typically three or four days for other codeine analogues.
Avatar f tn The meds that they have you on are really not for the control of anything more than minor pain. If more reparative surgery is not an option, it sounds like your condition has progressed to the point where you are going to need to go to an actual pain management doctor, to get meds that most general practitioners are not comfortable prescribing. Ultracet is not for severe pain even though it is listed as such. Not to mention that it is as addictive as any narcotic.
446097 tn?1223694666 The problem is I have a MAJOR job interview today and am not feeling well. chills, runny nose, bathroom, etc. I found an Ultracet lying around. Will this help me get through today? I really need to bring my A game.
366131 tn?1212562534 I have tried quiting several times and this has been the easiest, because I used ultracet. That stuff worked wonders for me. I only needed this for 4 days. I just thought I would share my experience if it can help somebody else...
Avatar f tn My husband just had his Gallbladder removed and he was addict for 13 years he's been clean for 7 the dr prescribed him Ultracet and he's scared to take it for the pain because of his addictive past. The Dr knew he was a addict and told him they are not addictive but reading online it says it is should he get the script filled or just take OTC meds? If OTC what should he take?
1071153 tn?1255369215 I grew up in a Godly home and was in church every week, so I knew it was wrong. A friend had some Ultracet. I tried some and liked them. I justified they were ok because it was not a narcotic. I have been taking Ultracet weekly and sometimes daily for four years getting Tussionex and other opiates we I could. I have come off the Ultracet a few times now and did not like the WD's....shaky legs, headaches, etc. A few months ago, I was diagnosed pleurasy was given Loratab 10 for pain.
Avatar n tn I am not as comfortable on stage, and lots of people give me a bit of anxiety (always have, its nothing I cant deal with without drugs). But, I have used ultracet a few times in this context for the purpose of relaxation and anxiety release rather than physical pain. I keep a bottle of hydrocodone and tramadol around for bad days (physical pain). A bottle of 100 will last me 6-7 months.
Avatar f tn He takes the meds every day several times a day. He is constantly having stomach issues as well. Loss in certain activities. I have asked him if he is addicted to them and he just says no. I am just concerned he has become addicted he has been taking these meds over a year now. I myself have never had addiction problems so I was hoping that someone on here could give me some help with warning signs etc. :( I am very concerned for his over all health. He barely eats some days!
Avatar n tn I thought you might want to know that tramadol (in Ultracet) has been considered a narcotic by a lot of doctors. I was told it wasn't a narcotic and then the information sheet at the pharmacy said it was. I was so confused and didn't know what to do because, like you, I have a past/present of drug addiction.
Avatar n tn habit forming and not super powerful in the pain relief arena but very addictive for many people..there is no tylenol in ultram or tramadol/but ultracet has tylenol in it so liver problems if taking alot of them can be a concern....like cathy said..why do u ask?
Avatar n tn Is there a formula for weaning yourself off ultracet? Am taking 5-6 a day for 3 years. What can I expect?
Avatar n tn Cluster headaches are short lived headaches and they may occur as sharp, stabbing or ice pick in character. They occur in clusters in a specific time of the year and may resolve only to come back in clusters again. Weakness of the extremity needs further evaluation in the presence of a headache. It is best to have him assessed neurologically before other diagnosis of benign headaches be given.
Avatar n tn I take tramadol for pain in my neck and back. Since I started I have been constipated. Does tramadol cause this? I try to go without laxatives but when I get to the 6th day, I am so uncomfortable that I resort to the laxative. Is this safe for me to do? I have tried metamucil, fruit, stool softeners etc. Nothing works except enema's or stimulant laxatives.
898832 tn?1243968023 narcotic like/stronger than tram in that respect with an actual AD mixed in..neurocet is tramdol...ultracet which tram mixed with tylenol but is not labeled here in the us as such but is an out of country brand..
