Its used for treating eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and certain other inflammatory skin conditions. Its an anti inflamatory medicine. Herpes is a virus that erupts to the skins surface as sores, blisters, razor type cuts. It wont prevent the virus from surfacing, only antiviral med would inhibit this. As for the sores, they heal by them selves in about a week once the virus dies. The sores scab over and fall off, except inside of the vagina where no scabing takes place.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I have had an on going battle with a skin problem for the past few years. I have seen at least 8 different doctors and only one has said it might be considered psoriasis. I just recently went to another doctor today that is giving me blood work and gave me nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. The problems are on my foot, thumb, starting on my fingers by my nails and now under my rings. The skin is very itchy and on my hands it is white patches that sort of looks like a bad dry skin.
Hi. I m 30 year/man, currently use a cream triamcinolone acetonide cream recommended by my dermatologist for my dry skin of my penis and psoriasis. I've been using it long but not all day, but I really have not seen improvement in my skin from the penis. Also recently discovered that the cream has steroids, which I do not want to use it more. There any cream that you recommend and save for the penis??

I have been diagnosed as having psoriasis on my scalp. For years I was so embarrassed. A friend gave me some triamcinolone acetone 10 percent and it cleared it right up. However if I stop using it it comes right back, but it works great for me. Also I was prescribed selenium sulfide 2.5 and it also clears it right up. I hope this helps like it helped me. I wish there was a cure though.
5 years prior, I was diagnosed with mild psoriasis.Prior to herpes infection, I had a big psoriasis outbreak on legs, arms, abdomen. After herpes diagnosis, I only had mild herpes nodules on side of penis and in rectum area. Two months ago, I developed two pink spots, approximately 1 inch in diameter each that will not go away. very mild to no sensation. If you rub the spots or place warm water or warm air on them, they get darker, or reddish..but then back to pink.

I have been celebate for twelve years and have minor genital psoriasis/inverse and plaque. Dr. Said l also have the cold sore virus. I have had a sore for 3 years and thought it was psoriasis. It always comes back in the exact same place. I have started Valtrex and it seems to be healing. I havent had a blood test but swab did not show. What does hsv1 look like when an outbreak begins?
As I had previously experience of psoriasis, I thought I may help it with triamcinolone cream. After using triamcinolone, I didn't have the itch but once I stopped using it, the itch would come back.

i have been experiencing itchy anus and along the butt crack since a few days now. The doctor thought it to be psoriasis and prescribed Dovobet ointment. I have been applying the same past 2 days but with no relief. Today i noticed that the whole butt crack is discolored! The skin has turned white (my skin tone is wheatish). I am very stressed and thinking negative...Please help!
ve tried every remedy and medical treatment I could get so far, with no results. Candida injections. Triamcinolone cream. Cutting and burning and freezing (they grow back as fast as the skin does). Tee tree oil. Garlic. Zinc supplements and cream. Vitamin supplements in general. Banana peel. Apple cider vinegar. Potassium. Essential oils such as oil of oregano. Homeopathic treatments (hey, I'm desperate enough to try) such as thuja and dulcamara.
So what's the big problem with this?
Got bumped up to a cream called Flucinonide. It works better than the Triamcinolone for sure, but still only about 6-8 hours and I have to re-apply. However, the spots that were getting bigger have disappeard, but im sure that the intensity of the itch has increased greatly, because when the Flucinonide wears off, its INTENSE and fast! Also, started waking up at the same exact time each morning itching primarily my inner thighs (which have always been the worst), and the back of my ankles.
