Common Questions and Answers about Too much coffee health problems

coffee

Avatar f tn Hi mommies I am 30+2 and I was wondering how much caffeine is too much? My doctor said it was ok but she didn't specify how much was enough.
Avatar f tn m planning to lose another 5kgs through calorie control and exercising. Is this too much/an unhealthy amount? I have been told by my friends I'm becoming too skinny but I don't see it. And advise or comments are greatly appreciated.
Avatar m tn I thought it was healthy (or at least relatively harmless), but I read that too much tea causes excess fluoride to build up in the thyroid gland. Am I drinking too much? I know of the danger of dehydration with caffeine, but I make sure that I am properly hydrated so that isn't a problem.
Avatar f tn s caffeine in tea, coffee, chocolate and many sodas too. You may drink it in limitless amounts without effect, but what if it did harm the baby? I'm not willing to take the chance.
915119 tn?1341948989 I have noticed that for the last couple of days I have been excessively yawning and I looked it up and it said there are some health problems that cause it. Now I am super worried. Can my depression medication cause this excessive yawing, or should I worry? Please, anyone, more information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn It sounds like you're having digestion problems. The most problematic of the foods you mention generally are first, the milk, second, the sugar, and third the coffee. But it's hard to say since diet is very complicated, and you don't say how soon after eating you laid down. Chamomile is a good stomach relaxant and anti-inflammatory, perhaps try some of that instead of the coffee, milk, and sugar and see how you do, assuming you don't need the coffee to stay awake.
Avatar m tn If so that may be because your body is use to the loads of coffee as my mum was breaking the habit of coffee she often found she was having dreadful headaches from the decrease in caffeine. You should defiantly not being drinking that much coffee though cause of the caffeine content maybe you should go on an addiction breaking plan or something and see if the symptoms go away?
Avatar f tn How much iced tea is too much I drink it just lightly sweetened but its so good and I want it all the time of course I drink water too no coffee or soda I just want tea and water lol I'm 26+3 what are the consequences? And what is too much?
Avatar f tn above 400 mg per day heavy is more than 6, 0000 mg per day I dont know how many cups of coffee are in your four pots a day, but you can figure out how much you are drinking per day: plain brewed 8 oz coffee: 135 mg plain, decaf: 5 mg tea: 40 - 120 mg soft drinks: 30 - 70 mg Energy drinks: 80 - 300 mg Meds ie Exedrin: 60 mg Drinking a lot of coffee can cause serious physical and mental health problems.
Avatar n tn Just try to cut back on it mine does that to if I've had way too much caffeine. I also have anxiety/panic attacks like every single day so that makes it worse but if I don't have a Dr Pepper or Mr pibb everyday my head will hurt so bad!
Avatar f tn Okay so I am 2wks and 6ds pregnant which have been feeling not wanting to eat all I want to do is drink coffee 3 to 4 glass of coffee per day so is it okay to drink that much of coffee per day when you're pregnant??
Avatar f tn Is it something we can do something about producing too much adrenaline/ being too sensitive to adrenaline from a "getting to the root cause of the problem" perspective? (ie aside from beta blockers which would just be a patch treatment for the symptoms - I'd rather have a way of treating the problem from the root of the problem). I would really appreciate your take on it.
Avatar f tn The risk with radiation is a complex subject. If a scan is required and can identify a potentially lifethreatening condition which another test cannot do, then there is no question that this is the best test. It is also important to realise that we cannot say definitely who will be affected by radiation, but the risk is relatively greater in younger individuals, partucularly females and the region of the body that is being imaged.
Avatar m tn My behavior doesn't show I drink this much. I don't go out a lot and I do drink at home. No one knows how much I drink.. My husband is starting to notice. I know there is a place for me to go .to get help. I don't want things to get out of hand and do something I may regret. I'm so afraid of AAmeetings that tell you everything is anonymous... well I know everyone in town! I grew up here and worked for schools for 30 years.
Avatar n tn I drink decaf since I know I'm pregante. I'm high risk so I don't take a chance but one regular coffee is 200 mg of cafeine and it is ok. Just make just that you don't get too much cafein from other thing like soda and chocolate.
Avatar f tn I have not experienced any trouble with potassium. However, I do know that a person should not take too much of it. The extra potassium plus the potassium-sparing diuretic could be causing your system to retain too much. You might want to ask your doctor for an electrolyte blood panel test, this will show what, if anything, is going on.
Avatar n tn I drink coffee daily and have both of my pregnancies now, I couldn't get by without it!
Avatar n tn Make them soft boiled if you want - Some coffee is okay and actually can prevent some health problems.
Avatar f tn I saw that too. I think most of them are being induced prior to their due dates because of health risks.. like the mom having high blood pressure or gestational diabetes, etc. My doctor only mentioned about inducing me if I go past 41 weeks, which of course, also depending on my health and my baby.
Avatar f tn Ok thanks yall Ive just been craving coffee so this helped(:
