My son will get stomach pains after eating. After keeping track of what he ate and how much we discovered if he gets too much dairy the pains are worse. Real butter seems to affect him quickly.
I have cronic stomach pains, i was told i have acid reflux and seems like no matter what i eat it upsets my stomach. For a week now i feel like im going to throw up no matter what. Could this mean anything??
I hope not, but I have been thinking I coudl be pregnant... do you get sharp stomach pains above your belly button or right above it when youre pregnant? or coudl it be abmormal or unhealthy eating habits?
I ate a no fat yogurt for breakfast and hope the dairy is ok. ( I've been eating dairy with no problem, but only no fat dairy). I guess I am "lucky" that I have occasional irritable bowel attacks and this is NOT irrittable bowel pain. (my irritable bowel was always the same... Terrible gas pain, had to immediately lay on my left side and try to relax until the BM starts... First years constipation, last years diahrrea.).
Hello My daughter has had stomach pains with vomiting and to the point of running her to the emergency room all the time this has been going on for YEARS now and well she is now 16 and still has the same issues, the doctors have said it could be acid reflux , she has had EVERY test and exam and changed her diet and it has got to the point that my daughter cant even go to school due to ALWAYS being sick, it hurts me so much to see my daughter in so much pain and tofeel helpless.
I end up throwing it up like my stomach rejects the food and after i throw up i feel great the pains are still there but, i can breathe. I have been to the doctor they told me i have colitis. I have been in and out of the emergency room many times, they told me they dont know. So i had a colonoscopy and they found hemroids. So they set up an appointment for the same thing but, down my throat. I am just wondering what the hell is going on. I know my body and i know when there's something wrong.
He does well in school. I haven't notice before or after meals if it hurts. I will focus on the before and after meals and make a note on his situation with pain. I know that he is afraid to eat anyting dairy in the morning or whenever we have to leave the house. I will try to give my son a piece of fruit or a Yoghort. I will keep you posted..
In 2010/2011 I had abdomen pains, excessive acid, very tender stomach, and constant burping. I was diagnosed with H-Pylori after I had an upper endoscopy. I was given a course of antibiotics which didn’t instantly clear up my symptoms totally but over the course of a couple of months my symptoms finally cleared up. I told my story here back then... http://www.topix.
Most people with lactose intolerance have loose bowels to diarrhea after eating dairy products and have mild to severe (depending on how much they eat) abdominal pains. Suggest having your son tested by an Allergist so you know if he has intolerance or not. Hope this helped.
When I feel that feeling I thought was hunger (the stomach pain), I'm going to eat less and see if that helps after a few days. I think in many cases it is acid.
In late June I started getting PVCs and serious indigestion to go along with the elevated heart rate after eating. Some burning like chest pains (left side and back) also occur. Anything with high carbs or sugar would make my symptoms much worse (always have had no trouble with sugar and my fasting sugar is in upper normal range). After about two hours the symptoms would almost diminish completely. I went my GP and he sent me to a gastro to have an upper endoscopy done.
I started going to my doctor first when I was thirteen about this and she has not the slightest idea what is going on. I read the tag about stomach pains after tennis and my syptoms sound very similar. I am in good shape and exercise regulairly, and it only happens on random days spread by weeks of no problems, and it only happens when I push myself to my limits. I have asthma, but I can outrun any person in my school so I do not think that is a problem.
- feeling completely out of it or as though i'm on drugs or alcohol - unreal feeling *persistent stomach pains and gas *headaches *weakness *unexplained anxiety/panic attack/depressive sympt. *numbness *loss of appetite *irritability *chills/hot flashes *spots in front of my eyes Last night I had extreme stomach pains and diarreha - which was a first for me since this began. Afterwards, all of the symptoms seemed to subside. I did not eat for the rest of the night or the mroning.
This does not happen every day but has happend atleast once every week. Throught out my day I also get pains in my stomach I have never had before. Ofcourse I should go to a doctor but honestly I do not like it took specialist 10 years to tell me I have a problem that cant be fixed.
I've had many tests done, and the only thing close to a problem any of my doctors were able to find was that I have an enlarged liver, but that's not the area in which my pain is coming from. The majority of my stomach pains are centered and farther down, almost in my ovaries. Any suggestions on what I should do?
hi i was reading ur post and i to experience the same exact thing, i also work in a emergency setting as well as the guy that commented last, and i have asked doctor after doctor, and the guy above seemed to hit it on the nose, what i was told that some people notice there heart rates increase and some dont that one can notice a 10 beat difference while the next person couldnt notice a 40 beat difference, also have you been checked for ulcers in ur stomach, they also can cause this after eating,
This is to help chronic stomach pain sufferers I had Gastric bypass rRNY IN SEPT 1997, I have experienced on an off stabbing stomach pains ever since. The one thing that does work is 1 TBSP RAW APPLECIDER vinegar( must be raw and not processed) with about 4 oz of water drink and it quickly and it goes away instantly. Sometimes u have to repeat it several times a day but it has kept me able to work and live after surgery, I keep a mixture in a water bottle with me at all times.
I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem I am having with my stomach or not. But it feels better after I eat. Could I have a problem with my blood sugar or something? I have had a "nervous stomach" since I was a child....but never anything like this. My bowel movements have been becoming increasingly loose. Sometimes to the point of almost not being able to hold it. I would really like to know what is going on. Last time I went to the doctor for pain.....
At first I thought it was just an upset stomach, or that I had eaten something bad. I have tried not eating dairy products as I then thought it might be lactose problems. This helped a little bit, but I am still having awful diarrhea with lots of gas and only a very few times have had solid exretments. I am really worried that I have crones or ibs. I went to my school doctor and he referred me to a gasroenterologist but I don't have insurance to cover this.
my doctor contributed it to heartburn or gass and i started taking medications to treat heartburn, and sometimes if taken directly after eating it helped. after high school the stabbing pain went away but the ache continued. during school my doctor tried putting me on different type of acid reducing medications. they seemed to help for a few days or weeks but then the aches would return. he also tried medications for IBS but it didn't seem to help either. i then went to see a specialist.
I sometimes feel like my stomach is empty even after I have eaten and sometimes I feel like I have a weight in my stomach when I lie down. I get heartburn (not as severe now that I am on Pantoloc) and I often feel like I want to belch after eating which does not come up easily. Can over acidity cause this problem - or a hiatus hernia? I also have some diarrhea on a daily basis. I've also had a stool test which was negative and I have no gall bladder abnormality.
What could be the reason(s) I almost always feel so tired and not very well after eating? It doesn't really seem to matter what I eat or the amount. But about 1/2 hour after eating, I can barely keep my eyes open, I just want to go lay down and my stomach just doesn't feel great. No horrible pains or gas or bloating, I just feel crappy. I know it's very bad to do, but I will often not eat to avoid these feelings. I know, I know...............see my doctor.
I had a c-section 4 months ago I've been having these god aweful stomach pains that make me douple over and last up to 2 hours it makes me feel like I can't catch my breath or even breath. The pain feels like some one is hitting me in the stomach over and over again! I've been to the doctor and they canno't figure it out they gave me some pills to help with the pain it barly works it only takes the feeling of being sick away!
For the past 3 weeks, i keep getting these stomach pains and it's bad. After i eat is worse and when i don't eat. Sometimes, there's pressure in my chest (near my heart) and it's all gas. I'm afraid it's something serious, that's why i'm trying to find out what these symptoms are (before the doctor tells me).
If I was on my period, I lost my appetite for a week and if I did have a bowel movement the pains were so intense. I started to have a love/hate relationship with food. After high school, I continued to struggle with my eating patterns. I had a friend who kept saying she was fat and she was a size 0. I have never been a size 0 and all I could think was ” if she is fat then what am I?” I began to starve myself.
Hi Joanna, I suffered with chronic and acute pancreatitis pain for years. My pain usually started approx. 1/2-1 hour after eating and bloating was also a symptom. Try cutting down on fats - I mean really down to 30 mg. a day. I have written a story about my experiences if you care to read it you will have to type in the address: www.insulin-free.org/stories/rebello.htm It's a start. Question your doctor to check your pancreas.
Last week a new symptom set in, I feel very lethargic and sick to my stomach after eating at all, so now I just plain hate to eat all together. I was tested for everything and so far no answers. My doctor thinks I am a hypochondriac and my insurance is starting to question my claims.
I went to my new doctor today. Over my stomach symptoms and heart murmur and palpations. My doctor is nice but yet again like the rest she tells me the most they can do is give me acid reducers which don't really help me much. They tell me I produce to much acid but my question is whats causing it? Maybe if they spent some time trying to figure out what causes it then I could feel better. Most people don't have that problem so my symptoms are deffinatly not normal.
