Recently I found that if I took allergy medication (Chropheniramin), my stomach seemed to feel better. So now I stop seeing the doctor for my stomach pain and take the allergy pills when I have stomach pain. That seemed to help me in my case. I'm not sure if this will help in your case but it might worth a try. The allergy medicine is very cheap and you can get it over the counter in any drug store. I hope you get better with your allergy problem.

I also seem to have moderate to severe pain in upper stomach when all this is happening. It lasted all night after dinner and the next day I seemed to be okay. I bought this salmon from two different stores on different weeks this month; so I assume food poisoning is unlikely. These two times were also the first two times of eating this type of fish. I've eaten tuna and have not experienced this. Could this be some type of food allergy or intolerance?

Hello all, I am a 28 year old female and generally feel completely healthy. For the past 2 years, I have been getting sick immediately after eating about once every 4-5 weeks. Within a few minutes, I have stomach pains and diarrhea (sometimes vomiting). During this time, my stomach seems to be going into 'spasms' which make me shake.

Later I went for allergy test and found that i was having maximum level of allergy from shrimp which I had taken in food.

It was Chicken Tikka Masala. I remember the timeI had it before, I had had bad stomach pain (no d or v and everyone else ok) but just put it down to indigestion. I think I am Ok with nuts as I often have them so it must be a spice. Has anyone else had this? How do I find out?

Hi and welcome to our little MS community, hmmm tricky because you do actually have an allergy to wheat, and that does cause bloating, stomach ache, diarrhoea/constipation etc and IB bowel issues can also cause those problems too. She also can not have lactaid, or peanut butter, hot dogs, oatmeal, or high fat food. She gets really bad bloatting, horrible diaharea, abdominal pain, and ocasional vomitting from all of these iteams. I have taken her to the doctor over and over again for these conditions they even did a blood test to see if there were allergies present and they came back negative the doctor does not believe she is even lactose intollerant and says to give her milk.

Stepped on scale, 120 pounds (lowest weight in 15 years). Horrible stomach distention and pain, No matter what I eat or drink. when I wake up stomach is somewhat flat, but still pudgy. After ingesting anything, it balloons, 2-3 months pregnant / no relief. Yes I have also consulted good gastroenterlogists but after some time(days) of completing medication treatment all these problems again creep in every time

Also it is possible to develop new allergies, you could develop new allergic reactions to food or other substances. You will only have to closely monitor. The pain could also be due to renal colic. Check with your doctor to rule out this condition. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

My stomach hurts not anywhere specific not a sharp pain just like feels really full hurts like when your sick and when that happens i just feel like total crap just wanna lay down and no nothing like im gonna throw up. I believe the pain is coming from my stomach. I feel it right under the breastbone. I haven't had a gastroscopy, but have had both an upper gi series and a cat scan. Both produced negative results for ulcer, abnormalities etc. I try to minimize my acidic intake to see if that will help, and yes, pepto-bismol definitely helps. I wonder how long it takes to repair damaged stomach lining, from Nsaid overuse??? Any thoughts on that.

My cat keeps having These rashes on her stomach between her legs around this time of year. We take her to the vet every time she gets it, But this year it's pretty bad. High white cells are sign of inflammation, which is not necessary an infection, and may be located anywhere in the body, it may even be a part of a heart disease itself. This antibiotic thing sounds to be judged quickly; it's weird.
