Does Sildenafil or actually having sex drastically lower blood pressure?
I made the following measurements and I do not understand the BP fluctuations?
1 hour after taking 60mg of Sildenafil - BP 146/94
After having sex - BP 125/77
In the morning - BP 160/102
Can Sildenafil be taken as a medicine to lower a BP?
What might have caused such big BP fluctuations specifically after night rest?
I know that drugs like Viagra etc,,, are used for pulmonary hypertension as well as erectile dysfunction. I'm a nurse and had a guy come on our floor with sildenafil as a regular medication. I asked the doctor why and he said the pulmonary hypertension. So I could see a use for what your husband said.
Like most on this forum, I feel guilt for not having caught this sooner. The side affects of taking the sildenafil are similar to symptoms of renal failure so I fear that we may have lost a couple of months without realizing it.
I know that given all of his health issues my little guys prognosis is not great. But now I am at the point where I start to wonder where to go from here.

I sincerely feel that you should consult a urologist for the same if the oral medications are not able to treat the ED. I hope you have tadalafil also apart from sildenafil. The next step is usually papaverine injection but needs to be given by an expert only. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
Taking 10-20 mg Cialis every 2-3 days, then taking 20-40 mg Viagra (generic sildenafil) before sexual activity. My questions isn't whether this is effective - it certainly is. But is there any risk to doing this? I moved so I don't have a doctor right now.
