Well done on the weight-loss. I gained 32lb on sertraline (zoloft) and havent managed to shift much at all.
Two visible causes in your case are depression and antidepressant sertraline which may be causing the loss of sensation in penis during intercourse. Paroxetine (Paxil) may be more likely cause a significant weight gain than other drugs of this type (like fluoxetine or sertraline). Studies about citalopram found no significant weight changes for most patients (but a minority of about 5% of the patients had a weight gain of more than 5 kg).

I'm assuming you were put on the Zoloft for anxiety? Can you share a little bit about your history of anxiety? How long have you been experiencing anxiety? Have you tried any other treatment methods, like therapy?
Zoloft is a very commonly Rx'ed antidepressant for anxiety disorders, because of its success rate and ease of tolerating it for most people. It's actually the most commonly prescribed antidepressant for anxiety.
Do you see any major weight loss. Are you on any other medications. You can discuss your endocrinology reports with your doctor and ask him for a sleep study if necessary. Do morning evening walk, stretches, have nutritious diet with lot of water or other liquids, have hot shower and listen to soft music before going to bed, these can be soothing to mind and body. Mild dose of alprax also can be tried. Update of your laboratory results. Take care.
t make you gain weight, but he promised me I would actually lose weight on Sertraline. It is really important for me to not gain any weight, and actually continue to lose. Over the past 6 months I have gained 30 pounds. I have OCD and was put on Lexapro along with other meds which really put the weight on fast. My doctor swithced my meds to Zoloft, Serequel, Anfranil, Klonopin, and Proprnolol for my anxiety and OCD. My OCD is finally under control but now all I do is obsess about my weight. It is really impacting my social life. I currently take 25mg of topamax in the morning and 50mg at night.
Not sure citalopram is any different than other ssris in encouraging food consumption -- depends on the person. And some can make you gain weight even if you don't eat any additional food because they can slow metabolism. The only real weight gainer that makes most people eat more that I know of is the tetracyclic Remeron.

Ask the doctor why you are on Lurasidone, if you don't know. I doubt it requires you to eat an extra 400 calories, maybe it just requires you to eat with the medication, which of course you could remove elsewhere from your diet.
Sertraline (like a lot of other antidepressants) can be supplanted if you get on a good exercise regime. (Exercise tests better in clinical studies than antidepressants.) On he other hand, when I was on Zoloft, I didn't gain weight.

s called Sertraline. I have been a bit agressive lately too and VERY hungry a most times. Sometimes I eat and I'm still hungry afterwards. Its off and on. I told my mother and she didn't provide me any good information and or to calm me down with my fears of thinking im pregnant due to symptoms. I would really appreciate some feedback and what this is! If I got a pregnancy test, my mom would call me a liar thinking i've had sex in which I have not.
