Hi! I hope you are feeling better! I have so many questions myself and just started a small dose of Zoloft Being on it before I do know it took like two weeks to start really working. I also know that when you increase, it should be in smaller increments. I'm not a doctor but why would he have you double your dose? Yikes? Some of the side effects can cause you more worry! Believe me..... I think I have every deadly thing going on in my body right now.

t just start taking it, but who knows maybe he has some secret wisdom that tells him that this will control my depression and anxiety... though he did say it was to help with the anxiety (arguing out scenarios of what will go wrong in my head and just plan scaring the sh*t out of myself over things that aren't likely to happen) he did not mention it being for depression. He just wrote it and said now before you argue with me about not taking it....

Yes I know I need to maybe start seeing a good Psychiatrist to get to the bottom of my Anxiety and Depression. Doc suggested Seroquel and starting on a very low dose...to aid with my Effexor. My problem is that the Anxiety is bad...effecting my work and life in general. I am frustrated with taking baby steps. What is the dose for treatment of such disorders and not just a low dose for sleeping?

I recently switched over from Quetiapine to Zeldox, as I had gained 30lbs in 2 mths with the Quetiapine, and this was affecting my self confidence, as well as not being able to fit into my jeans. I studied up on Zeldox, and it was promoted to give you the benefits of Quetiapine, but with minimal weight gain, so after discussing it with my Dr., I thought I would give it a try. The first month, I could not sleep.

i just want to know will i get my life back do my medication work evensally will they ever work i hate feeling alone and want to be normal like my friend and family how i feel is id be better off dead somethime cos i hate it i have bipolar and and coming off eplim and going on quetiapine 300mg a nigth i just hope to good it works ive been in and out of hosptial sice i was 15 years old i hope i get hiope since no cure........

I'm in the Uk and currently taking Quetiapine, Depakote and Lamotrigine. The Quetiapine for me was prescribed for rage and agitation, I don't feel any anti depressant properties from it, but it has saved my life. Lamotrigine was prescribed 7 weeks ago and I feel a lot better, I am doing things that I didn't think I'd ever feel I could do again. Nobody has ever specified what type of Bp I have, I have symptoms from across the spectrum, I have mixed episodes.

Update. Hi. My dissociative moments have receded and I've ha a week or so of being in agood mood and really productive; more so than for over a year. I increased my bedtime dose of quetiapine but found I was feeling "wired" with irritability and anger in the afternoons/evenings. My sleeps are short (five to six hours at the moment despite the increased quetiapine). In view of this, I've re-added a morning dose of quetiapine and now things seem better..

My doctor has me on a small dosage (50ml) of quetiapine (seroquel) that I started in the second trimester

Does anyone find serequel/quetiapine is helpful within stabilising there moods.. My psych keeps going on about it as bein helpful but I never found it helpful with my mood swings, but wondered if it was just a dose thing? She's reluctant to put me on moOd stabilisers because im a big overdose risk apparently.. Advice?

Can you post her last few sets of thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report? What thyroid med was she taking and what was the daily dosage? What symptoms was she having?

Hi! I'm just trying to do some research for my friend ... She's been on Quetiapine (an atypical antipsychotic) for about 2yrs, but previous to this she was diagnosed with borderline hypothyroidism. Suddenly, she has fallen really ill and blood tests have confirmed minor hypothyroidism (T3 levels around 9)... but the symptoms look like hyper!

m not 36) with bi-polar ii and generalized anxiety disorder. About a year ago this diagnosis was changed to Cyclothymia, generalized anxiety disorder and traits of unstable personality disorder. I have been on 200mg Sertraline and 250mg Quetiapine for about 18 months, (and countless other meds before this over the years) but after being stable for about 12 months my Psychiatrist suggested reducing my Sertraline to 150mg.

50 every other day for about 4 months, my panic got so far worse than before, so i wen to see a neurologist, he put me straight away on valdoxan and quetiapine 25mg, took only valdoxan for 2 weeks i had'nt been able to have a good night sleep, my doc said to take half a quetiapine at bed time but also gave me zolpidem, my ansiety is great that none of these make sleep well, my question is: are this the withdrawal symptoms of the clonopil and how long will i have to put up with them?

I was taking 25mg of quetiapine (Seroquel) at night for one month. My doctor told me to stop taking it without reductions because of severe fatigue and somnolence during the day. I am not sure if I am going to have withdrawal problems. Any suggestions?

I am currently on 200mg Quetiapine and 30mg Cipralex in the morning. 100mg Quetiapine at noon, and 300mg Quetiapine at night, along with 50mg Clonazapam. I tried taking Zeldox, as I gained a lot of weight from the Quetiapine, but the Dr. made it an add on and kept me on the Quetiapine as well. I had very bad side effects, and got off the Zeldox immediately. I told my doctor about it, and she changed the Zeldox, which was 80mg daily to Abilify, which I take 10mg in the morning and 10mg at noon.

Hi there. I have had tachycardia for a long time which is normally around 120 bpm but last night I took my pulse just before I went to bed and it was at 150 bpm. This was at resting. I had an ECG a while ago which was normal. Also I have lost a bit of weight recently and can now feel my pulse in my abdomen just below the ribcage. I am 29, am taking quetiapine as without I don't sleep at all and weigh around 90kg. Just wondering if I should do anything about this?

Yes--when I change doses or lithium, quetiapine, or lamictal I get the same thing. It did go away after a few extremely frustrating weeks. Tell your pdoc, but mainly keep and eye on it. Did you change dosage?

Citalopram 40mgs (3yrs), Quetiapine 50-100mgs (2.5 yrs), Reboxetine 12mgs (18months), Lamotrigine 150mgs (6months) and Lithium 400 at night (one week...so unlikely to be relevant). Anyone got any useful thoughts??

Living with anxiety is very difficult. I am wondering if anyone takes a higher dosage of Clonazepam (Klonopin) than the average 1.5 daily? Is there a diference between Clonazepam & Klonopin?
