It is my daughter's second birthday on July 11 . Last year I took her to the zoo which she enjoyed immensely despite not being able to walk. So this year Id like to take her back as she would be able to run around and enjoy herself even more, trouble is I will be 26 weeks pregnant and people are telling me not to go. I've been told by midwife to stay away from sheep and cows so maybe there's something to it?

I have a zoo pass and went to the zoo throughout my whole pregnancy. exercise is good during pregnancy. i wouldn't be doing squats around the zoo but walking is always good!

I had 2 because finances family lives about an hr away. But my one for my family was zoo theme! The cake was zoo, we had zoo animals set up around the dishes in the table. We decorated the snacks all zoo themed. I'm having a boy. My other one was pretty small but i think it was like giraffe theme.....idk lol i didn't have a whole lot to do with the one for his family.

On April 2nd I made the decision to admit myself to a psychiatric hospital due to a psychotic episode. The thing that I'm having the hardest time comprehending is if I induced the episode or not. I convinced myself that I was covered in fleas, I heard voices saying my name and calling me worthless in the past, & I experienced paranoia. I don't know what to think right now. I wish I could know if I made the symptoms worse or not...

Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown. However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well. And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.

My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? I personally have known others who share similar problems to yourself who suffer from psychotic illness who found it extremely difficult to masturbate due to the sense of being monitored/watched and found it difficult to talk about, so the problem just continued, so it is good you have come forward. When my due date got close we bought a zoo membership and walked the zoo almost every day. It was great exercise. Sex is supposed to help too if u feel up to it. Pedicure with foot massage? Acupuncturist told me foot massage can stimulate contractions.

Yes, a large bird like a vulture can have the bones pinned but it must be done by a vet with avian experience. What concerns me is you say the break is "between the joints." Do you mean the break is separating the joints (at the elbow for example) or it's the bones between joints like the wrist and elbow (the radius and ulna)? That would make a difference. If there's a break at a joint, it may heal but the bird will lose all mobility in that joint.

The zoo was great. DH almost got hit in the head by a giant owl at the bird show. Too much fun. Thank you for the idea about rehab therapy. She is very very weak and also depressed. I really think looking into rehab would be a huge help.

I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.
