my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

Hello I have a 4mm micro adenoma the doctors saw the ademoma on the first and second scan with the contrast dye but on the third and fourth scan I wasn't given any dye so the adenoma didn't show. The doctors told me it had disappeared I was told it was a non secreting tumour even though my prolactin level was very high and that's why I went for the scan in the first place.
I am a middle aged man who has always had a problem with the look of my penis because when not in use it is only 1 1/4" long "micro" but when erect it is 6" but it does not matter in the locker room so to speak. Can I get a surgery?

I just got a called from the Dr. about my mammogram he said it is cluster micro calcifications 12:00 about 4cm no area of architectural distortion or nipple retraction want me to go on for additional evaluation. Yesterday when the nurse called from my gynecology that did my yearly mammogram said it was the start of cancer. Is cluster and mass the same ? I'm worry and no one seems to answer my question when I asked what does that mean so I can understand.
my stereo biopsy came back ok but they said i had to see about micro califications in the breast i thought if my biopsy was ok then everything was ok, can anyone help i am getting a bit worried
I am scheduled for surgery a Micro discectomy on Tuesday May 25th. My main lingering problem is muscle weakness in the left calf foot and glute, and also numbness in all those areas. I also have nerve pain and very weird sensations, such as hot/burning sensations, or water feeling really hot or cold when its not or like someone is trying to twist my toes off. However my sciatic pain has decreased significantly.
I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.

Hello, I have already read many questions on this forum but to ease my mind I will ask it again with different problem.
Once I went to place where sexual service is provided. I just had protected oral sex. My questions and problems are:
1) after protected oral sex I have noticed that I have scratch on my penis - probably made by teeth - condom should be ok - didn't see any micro cracks. (wasn't sure if is possible to have scratch with condom on.
After 3 weeks in a mental health hospital, period in which, without being checked or asked about how I am coping, they upped the anti-psychotic to a schizophrenia dosage. The doctor wrote me the diagnosis of schizotypal personality disorder and sent me home to continue to take Solian(Amisulpride)600mg in two dosages.
