prilosec xanax

I do drink alcohol, smoke marijuana (which can help the nausea imensely), take 10mg of lexapro a few times a week, and .5mg xanax as needed (i have anxiety problems) and prilosec (40 mg in morn. 40mg at dinner). I have gone to a Gastro doctor and he had me get a scope. Everything came back ok, but i still suffer from the morning vomiting. He says its just acid reflux, but why wont the prilosec work?

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

hey thank you for your time. i take prilosec everyday cant go with out it i have reflux really bad is the a bad thing for my stomack will it cause problems down the road been on it for at least 2-3 years do come off of it now and than take zanta for a week but it not as good.

I have been having some GI issues for almost 2 months now and was first diagnosed with Gastritis. For the Gastritis I was given 15 days worth of Prilosec. While on the Prilosec (and before) I had diarrhea and loose stools every day. Being as I was having that before, I never attributed it to the Prilosec but now I'm questioning whether or not the Prilosec contributed to the loose bowel movements as I am now back on Prilosec and am having loose stools once again.

I've struggled with heartburn for years (36 year old male) and am overweight. Former GP suggested I go on Prilosec OTC, once daily, and for the past 3-4 years I've been heartburn free. Besides the cost, is their truly a difference between Nexim and Prilosec. The active components in Nexium are esomprazole magnesium and in Prilosec are Omeprazole Magnesium. Also, Nexium comes in 20 mg and 40 mg capsules and Prilosec is sold over the counter in 20 mg tablets. My GI switched me to Nexium because Aciphex gave me terrible side effects and Protonix made my water brash symptoms ever worse. I have tried Prilosec in the past and it didn't have much of an effect for me.

Hi, my doc put me on 14d Prevpac treatment today. I've been taking Prilosec during the past month or so to get my symptoms under control. It works quite well for me. I have never taken Prevacid before. Are these two the same thing? Can I use Prilosec to substitute the Prevacid in the pack? I'm scared of stopping Prilosec as my symptoms always get worse when I tried to wean myself off the drug in the past.

Is there an appropriate way of getting off of Prilosec? I have been taking it for almost two months and starting to think that all the symptoms I am experiencing are from the Prilosec. After all GI test have come back normal and all the test from my regular physician have come back normal, I want to quit Prilosec. The first month I was taking one 20mg pill in the morning and one 20mg at night. Now I am only taking one 20mg pill a day. Do I quit cold turkey?

It may be withdrawal from xanax and yes stomach problems is a major problem anxiety can cause. If it is the anxiety , therapy might work or some other medication like an antidepressant that can help that won't be habit forming, also klonopin is a good alternative to xanax. Xanax is the worst benzo as far as addiction goes, physically I mean.

Anyone with HepC taking 20 mg. of Prilosec? My dr. said ok to take, but I'd feel better if anyone else is/has used it. Either a prescription or OTC.
