Try sticking with lean meats (fish, chicken, lean cuts of beef/pork), low/no fat dairy, lots of fresh/frozen veggies, which would be whatever is available, whether it be beans, squash, lettuce, broccoli (both raw and cooked), cauliflower (both raw and cooked),
potatoes (limit the white
potatoes), sweet
potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, celery. Eat fresh fruit, but since many fruits have high sugar content, you should not stick with only 1-2 servings/day.
