He got off the percocet and sometime oxy use (he prefers percocet) and despite at home drug testing, he still used a couple of times (2 to 3 since October) In the past month the oxy portion of the test was very, very, very, light...almost not there. He admitted using suboxone. (not prescribed for him) So I don't know what to think about that. Did the suboxone cause the oxy line to be so light? This means your urine test was sent for both qualitative and quantative testing. A positive/negative result but also confirmation you are taking meds exactly as they are prescribed. From your post, it seems you may not be if you are ‘running short’. Patients have a responsibility to take the meds exactly as prescribed, not more, not less , UNLESS and UNTIL you have gotten your drs consent BEFORE taking more.

I have taken OxyCodone (Percocet) for the last few years due to pain from breast cancer surgeries. I take 2 oxycodone in the a.m usually 7am 5/325. Then 2 again in the evening prior to bed. I also take morphine at the same time. The issue is this, I took a drug test, by my doctor, the test came out negative. Test taken at 2pm. I did not miss any doses and I did take my morning dose. From my pain management/spine specialist, I am currently prescribed percocet one tablet of 5-325 twice a day as needed for pain. I am also prescribed Tramadol 50 mg tablet: take one tablet daily as needed for breakthrough pain. Currently I have been taking one tablet of tramadol mid morning and one tablet of percocet at night. My question is are any of you prescribed 3 different pain medications?

m percocet addict so I sure do understand the hold these devils have on a person. Its like heroin in pill if you ask me. I can't believe it but I've been off them a year and you can do it too! I think you should be completely honest with your doctor. He will understand, not be shocked and will help you through this. He cannot write your condition on a sick note because it violates doctor patient confidentiality laws . Its strickly between you and him. Don't be scared.
I don`t know if percocet is like darvecet by the physical part took a good week to get past cold turkey. The mental part is alittle harder. but you can definatley do this!! Today is day 48 for me and this site will help you ALOT!
I'm I having withdrawl or not I stopped taking percocet 40 hrs ago and lying in bed tonight my hands and shoulders were aching so bad I was tossing and turning I got up and took 2 10's Percocet and 1 10 Oxycontin and now I'll spend the rest of the night in my recliner , The question is, is my pain a reaction to stopping the Percocet . I've gone through this time and time again only to have the pain over whelm me .

I have been trying to get off percocet. It started out bu just taking it here and there. But now I am up to 8-10 a day and Its all I think about. I buy off the strret. My doctor doesn't even know. Hello!! I also abused Percocet. You are early in your withdraw...it is going to take some time. The first week is pure hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. You will get through this!!!!!i am on day 19 today and still dealing with issues. After the first 7 days the physical withdraws will subside quite a bit. Stock up on items in the Thomas recipe...they will help!!!! How much and how long were you taking the percs? Stay strong and good luck to you!!
to anyone out there. i was wondering if 10mg of percocet a day is going to addict me. i have migranes due to withdraws from xanax.
) I don't stay very happy.. I understand your statment about running out of your pills early and then feeling like ****. I do that constantly and it seems like the pills were put on this earth to torment me. I wish you luck in your journey to quit the habit.
