Jinx, as you mentioned, I started snorting because the pain keeps me awake and it takes 20-30 minutes for it to start kicking in when taken orally, whereas snorting gives quicker relief. Then I began to like the snorting process so I admit it will be hard to stop. Regardless of why or how I got here, I am addicted to them and suffer withdrawal when I cut back stop my medication.

So me and my wife have been taking oxycodone for about a year and a half now. We were taking about 120mg each a day and then about 8 months ago we cut down to 60mg each and still are doing that much each. We crush and snort them. We used to do a whole 30 at a time each but now I have us sharing a 15mg about 8 times a day so its a small dose but doesn't get us high. It just keeps us from feeling like ****!
No question, I just want to share my experience. I started snorting Oxy M30's about 4 months ago. Being a raging "pot-head" and an occasional cocaine user, I heard about these oxy's that have just flooded southern Florida where I recently moved. I asked my new weed hook-up if he knew where I could score some powder, but all he could get were those Small, Round, Blue, M30's. He told me people crush them and snort them to make them work faster but recommended against it.
Hi, I've been snorting a 10 mg oxycodone once a day for the past 5 months to help me with back/neck pain. I usually get through the day until about 4-5pm, then the pain gets too much. I also feel myself getting sort of antsy and anxious about that time. I don't feel like I'm building up a tolerance and needing more, YET! Can I continue at this level safely, or am I heading down an addictive road? The only negative side effects have been irritated nasal passages.
Yes, the first thing you want to do is STOP snorting OR chewing OR taking more than 1 at a time. You want a slow release into the blood stream. Not a high.
if he really wants to stop the first thing he has to do is stop snorting them..he should swallow then if he is going to use...snorting just spikes the dose so you get it much stronger and quicker...then he has to get some type of aftercare..na/aa or therapy, you gotta have tools to beat this addiction,,,you learn those in aftercare...have him come here and read and find out what he can do to help the w/ds...he can do it but it is hard work and total commitment.
I am currently snorting 8 30mg's of Roxicet per day. I also take about 9 10/650 loricet mixed in. I want to quit and don't want to do Suboxone again. I have a supplier and access to him so I can go as slow as needed. Please provide a taper schedule that will allow me to work through it. No one knows about addiction and can't go to clinic or through serious withdrawals. Is that even possible?
In the meantime I have started to try to take 1/2 roxicet and swallow other half.

I have a friend who has been crushing oxycodone #15 mg and #30 mg pills and snorting them.... I suggested just puting them into a cup of coffee but she insists on doing them that way. Are there any health risks involved in snorting the pills?
Note: they are small pills with no Tylanol in them....
To be honest i was taking Roxys as well for the past 2 years. Snorting only. I cant believe that it was so easy to talk my doctor into them. I have lied to my whole family for entirely way to long now. I have told the I promise im going to quit story to my girlfriend more times than i can remember and I always let her down. I really dont deserve her or any of my friends or family. I get up snort 30mgs and snort 15mgs every 3 hours until i go to bed.

This is my first time posting here and I’m hoping some of you can offer me some advice. My ex-boyfriend takes oxycodone multiple times a day, everyday. I don’t know exactly how much he’s taking but I do know that his doctor recently increased his prescription from 15mg pills to 30mg. He says he takes them for residual pain from injuries that he sustained in an accident a number of years ago. He sometimes snorts the pills and often looks for ways to potentiate the pills.
I have 24 OC 5mg's and 5 15 mg Morphine. Can someone help me with a taper schedule? I've been using (snorting) Oxy recreationally for over a year now. No consistent Mg's per day, pretty much just whatever I can get that day. Lately (last few weeks) i've kept the mg's down to 80 to 120mgs a day. I know I will still have WD's but want to do whatever I can to stay at work and to take care of my 3 sons and lay in bed as little as possible.
I am prescribed 30mg morphine sulfate 2x a day and 10 mg Oxycodone 4x s day which I abuse by crushing and snorting them. I was on day 3 of detoxing cold turkey praying that last night would be better with the restless leg syndrome and sleep because I think I have only slept 3 hours since I syarted. Well my question is I took 1/2 of my Oxycodone last night roughly only 2 mg. and 1/2 of morphine 15 mg.
I feel sooo guilty... Will this take me back to square 1????
Ive been on oxycodone for a little over 2 years. I only hoot them now and everytime i try to quit my nose burns so bad and my face feels hot. I also have a broken tooth in the front but even before that i feel like my nose os damaged. Please help i can't keep living this way. I just want to be normal.

My doc allowed Tylenol 3 because I was already taking it when I started a clinical trial. That soon got switched to oxycodone as the sfx from tx were not handled with the #3's. I feel better not taking any acetaminophen although my family doc says they still give it to people even in liver failure if it is called for. Find that strange but as far as I know its ok as long as you're not an addict crushing and shooting/snorting it up.
