i was on the depo for like 3 years and then stopped that in october and went to the nuvaring. i had like 2-3 periods on the nuvaring but i was so inconsisent with it i like screwed up my body and decided just to take it completely out and regulate my body aswell as try to get pregnant.

You started Nuvaring, it can take a few days for your period to start especially when your on yo ur first mornth of Nuvaring. It takes 3 months for your body to regulate hormones. Now if you had unprotected sex within the first week of being on nuvaring (if you hadn't been on another birth control method before) then it's possible to get pregnant. I was on Nuvaring for 3 months and had no issues with it.

I started the ring a few days later. That month...no sign of my period the ring off week, so I took high doses of vitamin C to start it. I bled really heavy for 5 days. In March I had a very light period for 3 days. And in April, it was so light it barely showed on a panty liner, only when I wiped or peed. When I was previously on NuvaRing, I always had heavy periods and when not on BC heavy as well. I have taken 8 tests- all which are negative including one last month.

I normally have this type of blood at the beginning of my period. I experienced this while the nuvaring was still in, but thought it was just breakthrough bleeding. I went home on break and checked my calendar and realized i should have taken the nuvaring out the day before. I took the ring i had in out, and went back to work for four hours until i could pick up my new nuvaring at the pharmacy after work.

i was on nuvaring both times i got pregnant, well let me back up! i didnt have a period on my no ring days and i got concerned! went to the dr and he told me not to start it again until i had another period! well not thinking i did the deed and ended up preggo! i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere!

Well I started the Nuvaring on the 17th of February... the first day of my period which is what the doctor told me to do. Its now the 8th of March and Im still bleeding. Very lightly, but its enough to have me wear a liner every single day. Last night I woke up feeling extremely sick. Today, this morning, I started vomiting. Could I be pregnant? Is there a chance? Its so confusing because there have been so many women who have gotten pregnant while using a birth control contraceptive.

If you got ur period ur not pregnant unless u just bearly spotted then that could b a possibility. ..

I had sex while i wasn’t on the NuvaRing but he said he pulled out. I put the NuvaRing in the week I usually get my period so i know I’d go a month without my period. i’m having cramps like period cramps now. Could that be signs of a pregnancy or is that okay?

Ive been on the NuvaRing since my 6 week check up(about 20 months). Well this is the second time ive taken my ring out on time and i have a brown period with decent sized clots. Im having normal cramps and back pain but there is very little red blood. is this normal?

Okay so for the past 3 months I have been a day late on putting in my nuvaring. I use to put in on sundays. Then I put it in on Monday. The next month, Tuesday and now Wednesday. Well it's currently Monday. I usually have my period 3 days after taking my nuvaring out. It's been 5 days since I took it out and still no period. Should I be worried because I was being irresponsible and putting it in a day late..?

I started the NuvaRing for the first time, I inserted 18 days after the start of my period ( or 15 days after the end of my period) and it has been in for 12 days consecutively. I had unprotected sex on the 12th day of having the NuvaRing in, at this point is it an effective form of birth control ?

my doctor told me I was suppose to wait 7 days before the nuvaring can take effect after I inserted the nuvaring on the 4th day of my period.. I had sex with my boyfriend on two of the days before the 7 days were up.. but we did the pull out method. I have an ovulation calender on my phone and it said that I would ovulate a couple days after the 7th day was up.. do I have anything to worry about still if I didnt ovulate during the time I had sex?

No but I was using the Nuvaring and got pregnant, so you could be pregnant especially if you used antibiotics.

Hi there, So I hope someone knows more about this. I'm on the NuvaRing and as it is quite a new thing, my doctor doesn't know it, I find that the instruction booklet and the website both give only very basic information about how it works and it doesn't help me at all when something unusual occurs.

I know your period isn't supposed to come on until you take the NuvaRing out, but I also know you can experience some bleeding while on birth control. Hi board! I had a question for you! I just finished my 3rd month of using the NuvaRing. I recently switched from Yaz that I had been on for years. My question is that my "period" came on the day is usually does (4th day after I take out the ring), and my "period" this time is all very light, brownish discharge! Only a couple of times have I seen a hint of red in the discarge!

I take my ring out tomorrow if no period in a few days I will test. I have been on 3 birth controls in the past 4 months. Had mirena until january had some issues with it all of a sudden after being on it a year and a half, I was on nexplanon for a month and it made my depression really bad so got off that immediatly, now the nuva ring. I was on the nuvaring for 6 years be4 I had my daughter I dont remember feeling this horrible.

I didn't put in my nuvaring on the day I was suppose to. I have had unprotected sex on the 6 day before ovulation and 4 days before ovulation. What are my chances of getting pregnant? I'm not going to put my nuvaring in just in case I am. It is too early to take a test so I come here for some answers.

Nuvaring takes a month to be fully effective in your body, and you should have used back up birth control the entire time. Your odds are roughly the same as any other couple trying to concieve. Take a pregnancy test with first morning urine.
