i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that its just not showing up positive yet?

I had sex while i wasn’t on the NuvaRing but he said he pulled out. I put the NuvaRing in the week I usually get my period so i know I’d go a month without my period. i’m having cramps like period cramps now. Could that be signs of a pregnancy or is that okay?

I normally have this type of blood at the beginning of my period. I experienced this while the nuvaring was still in, but thought it was just breakthrough bleeding. I went home on break and checked my calendar and realized i should have taken the nuvaring out the day before. I took the ring i had in out, and went back to work for four hours until i could pick up my new nuvaring at the pharmacy after work.

i havnt had a period in two months i just got put on the nuvaring and im cramping alot is that normal..

my doctor told me I was suppose to wait 7 days before the nuvaring can take effect after I inserted the nuvaring on the 4th day of my period.. I had sex with my boyfriend on two of the days before the 7 days were up.. but we did the pull out method. I have an ovulation calender on my phone and it said that I would ovulate a couple days after the 7th day was up.. do I have anything to worry about still if I didnt ovulate during the time I had sex?

We are ttc and I was on nuvaring. I was supposed to start my period sunday and I still havent but have taken a pregnancy test and it says negative! Is it possible its a false negative or to early to test or is my body just late from stopping bc? Anyone have any advice?

I had sex fathers day and the 29th and the condom broke but i hav the nuva ring and i got my period but its lasts 3-4 days well i put nuvaring back in on july 5th then had unprotected sex (pull out) on the 7th of july i feel different always hungry n and expect period in a wk wen can i test or how do i kno for sure if test is negative could it be from nuvaring because with my 2yo i had missed period n tested negative

hello, the same thing just happend to me - I thought I would have my period and started with hormonal contraception (I don´t take the pill but the NuvaRing). Now I realized that it wasn´t my period at all and I didn´t got my period since I started taking the NuvaRing (1 week ago). My questio is: how about birth-control?? will I now need to use another contraception-method or does hormonal contraception also work when you start taking it without having your period?

I started Nuvaring on Monday the 17th of August on the first day of my period which came 2 days early. I continued it for the next few weeks and spotted moderately the whole time. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Wed the 2nd of Sept which would have been day 16 on the ring. He also withdrew.

I hve been on the nuvaring for 7 months now. My in/out day used to be Tuesday. Last month I took it out a week early by mistake. On dec 28th I inserted a nuvaring on what I thought was my first day of my period, i ended up spotting for 3 weeks after, everyday... I removed the ring 2 days early. I admit I did NOT take them faithfully or properly and i did NOT start them when i should have, i started taking them about midway through my cycle instead of waiting until after my period. When i got my period, THREE days into it, i started the NuvaRing. My boyfriend and i have had sex MANY times and he cums in me almost everytime. It also fell out one day and was out for more than 3 hours... Is it possible that i may be pregnant or is this just the side effects of this ring?

I am thinking that maybe since i messed up the nuva ring i might have ovulated when i took the nuvaring out and it is too early! What do you think?

I had the birth control removed on October 23rd and had unprotected sex 2 hours before removal and did not get the nuvaring in until 2 hours after removal. I no longer have the nuvaring as of November 6st due to it making me sick. All pregnancy tests show negative but they showed negative for my son s well. I didnt find out about his pregnancy until 18-20 weeks via ultrasound. I had a small amount of pinkish discharge when i wiped about 5 days ago and again 2 days later.

we had unprotected sex a week after and i was on my period. i took an i pill but my periods seems to have stopped.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant on the nuvaring? Oh and if when you put it back in are you suppose to do it at the same time of day too?? I know you are suppose to put it in on the same day, not sure about the same time? I don't think I've been putting it in at the same time of day. Ive been on the NuvaRing since my 6 week check up(about 20 months). Well this is the second time ive taken my ring out on time and i have a brown period with decent sized clots. Im having normal cramps and back pain but there is very little red blood. is this normal?

I started the NuvaRing for the first time, I inserted 18 days after the start of my period ( or 15 days after the end of my period) and it has been in for 12 days consecutively. i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere! i bought a test for the hell of it and it said PREGNANT! i was in complete shock because i had been on the nuvaring for a while! i used at end of JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and found out i was pregnant in october!!!
