Avatar f tn I am a LimboLander with an uncomfortable new symptom--or maybe not a symptom?? I have a stiff neck--and not the kind that you get after you sleep weird--and not like something is "out." It's just this line of pain from my neck dowm my right arm--and up to my jaw--I feel stupid asking because maybe it's just a stiff neck--but I've never had pain like this before and was just wondering if this sounds like something to add to my log of sx or if it seems unrelated.
Avatar m tn I am 19 years old. I get eye pain ( left eye ) along with neck pain in the left ( responds to neck movement ) and headache on the left side of the base of my head when I read for long durations. I sit in a posture with slightly bent back and neck. The pain diminishes on closing my eyes and sitting leaning against a wall with head and back touching the wall. I feel it is due to neck strain, but it also causes blurred vision, confusion and also blackout when I suddenly get up.
592323 tn?1220549358 I have been having severe neck pain, numbness and tingling in hands, arms and legs, IBS, bowel discomfort, loss of vision in right eye, black spots in my left eye, sudden sharp pains to my head, trouble concentrating, irritability, and numbness in the right side of my face. My arm went extremely numb one night in bed and I thought I was having a heart attack. Most of my symptoms are only on one side of the body. This has been going on for years and worsened.
Avatar n tn Whilst out running I fell down a steep slope tumbling head over heels and hitting my neck & lower back on rocks and knocking myself out for approximately 30 seconds, I went to doctors who told me its just bruised and there's nothing wrong. they did not look at my back or neck. I have shooting pains and feelings of water being poured down my legs, any pressure on the back of my neck gives me horrendous headache and my vision goes blurry. I am worried as this has been a week and half now.
Avatar f tn I have back and neck pain going into my head up the back to the front is this normal?
Avatar f tn Thankyou so much and this does make sense as I have always worked on computers and my neck does always feel stiff. Something I didn't mention was that when I was still working in 2000 a coleague noticed I kept leaning my head to the side and it was discovered that I had double vision (oblique) and although this wasn't investigated I started to have a prism in my glasses quite a large one. It is difficult because it seems to vary as to how tired my eyes feel when I'm being tested.
Avatar f tn now and just had blood work and it seems the same. But I am having ear pain and vision change within 3 months of last eye check and bad neck and shoulder pain. My question is : could the nodules be in any way related to ear neck shoulder pain????? I forgot to mention the nodules to the GP last week ...she looked at my ear bc of my complaint and said it looked fine. Today they will probably call to tell me my blood tests where normal...

Avatar f tn I have had a headache for 2 1/2 weeks now and it started as a tension headache with a lot of neck pain and now I am having eye pain, blurred vision, flashy vision, one small gray spot in my vision, pain in temple, dizziness. The only thing that is constant is the blurred vision. I kept looking up symptoms of tension headache and it said noting about the vision stuff which had me freaked out. I hhve also had a x-ray of neck.
Avatar f tn I was just diagnosed with Chiari a few months ago after having more continuous headaches, migraines, dizziness, and blurred vision. What type of neck pain are you having,? Do you see a pain specialist? Most MD’s don’t handle pain management. Especially with the opioid issues here in the US. If you are here in the US, you need to see a neurologist or neurosurgeon and possibly a pain management dr.
Avatar f tn Since having my son 5 yrs ago, I have had increasing neck and back pain. I have seen chiropractors and physios to no avail. The pain in my neck is most prevalent right at the base of my skull. There is honestly not a minute in the day when I am not in pain. It has been getting much worse over the last 6 months. I cannot sleep because of the pain. Panadeine forte and neurofen plus help for maybe half an hour.
Avatar n tn Your symptoms seem to indicate that you are suffering from migraine headaches. One sided headaches with blurry vision, nausea and pain in the neck are all the symptoms of migraine. Migraine is a vascular headache. Memory issues could be related to your anxiety and sleep deprivation. I would suggest you to discuss this possibility with your neurologist as you may need to take medications to prevent these headaches. Take care!
Avatar f tn Triliptol causes easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness, mild nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea; tremors, blurred vision, dizziness, skin rash as its side effects. What is this knot like feeling in the back of neck you have been talking about? This has to be seen and evaluated by a doctor. It can be due to any muscular sprain, trauma, pinched nerve or cervical sp[obndylitis. It may or may not be related to Triliptol.Only a complete clinical examination can confirm the cause.

Avatar f tn After my previous two (too long i now realise) posts, I've a couple of questions.  I seem to have had a lot of symptoms develop in a short space of time at the beginning of this whatever it is i have, and although some have improved, most everything hasn't gone away.  Is this common with ms?  My sense of balance is still gone, I've quite bad tremors when I walk always to the left side making my gait look like I'm drunk.
Avatar n tn I'm sorry but I really can't make an anatomical connection between pinched nerve in neck and vision problems. They're not really related. Believe me, there are thousands of problems of the eye itself to cause blurred vision that it doesn't need to have anything to do with neck. Obviously, you are not feeling well and at those times, your sense of vision will suffer, just as you won't want to be around loud noises or do extremely difficult mental work.
