Avatar n tn Went to physical therapy. Headaches have gone away, but neck pain continues. Pain is in upper part of neck and is a dull, nagging continuous pain. I experience dizziness, lightheadedness when standing or moving. When I read my face feels flush and get lightheaded. I also feel stiffness in my body. Don't know what to do. Any suggestions on what is going on.
Avatar m tn Can arthritis in my neck and upper back cause lightheadedness? For the past few months I have been experiencing lightheadedness and some dizziness which seems to start around the same time that my neck and back pain from arthritis has gotten worse. I also have peripheral neuropathy in my feet which may also be part of the cause but I've had that for years and the lightheadedness started a few months ago and is very annoying.
Avatar f tn If you use computer a lot or read a lot then the symptoms of headache, dizziness, neck pain, numbness etc could be due to compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine and nerve conduction studies may be required. Please consult a neurologist.
194251 tn?1208178244 I was wondering if anyone else out there has been experiencing lightheadedness. It started about 5 days ago. I woke up with it and pretty much lasted the whole day. Now it comes and goes throughout the day. I am not sure if it is related to menopause or not. I also been experiencing muscle tension in the back of my neck and shoulders.
Avatar m tn I know many people have these symptoms, as a medical student I know that this most likely can be due to sinusitis, which results in a variety of symptoms including facial pain, tooth pain, headache, eye pain, dizziness, lightheadedness, vertigo, etc. due to sinus irritation, infection (bacterial, viral, or fungal). However, I have very mild, if not any pain. Sometimes knowing this much about disease causes me to turn into a hypochondriac.
Avatar n tn So once again here are my symptoms, I feel lightheadedness, pain behind my eyes, neck pain that travel to my shoulders and arm, lower back pain and weak legs. When all this comes I have hard time concentrating, poor coordination. Who should I see next, rheumatologist?
Avatar m tn I frequently get light headed, dull pain at the stem of my head, stiff neck, when rotating my head to left-left side of neck hurt more, when rotating my head to right-right side of neck hurt more. Not frequently but at times I get a sharp pain in my chest and another part of my body, leg or abdomen, for a microsecond.
Avatar f tn I am a 24 yr old female, since I was young I have always had back and neck problems. I have noticed in the past 3 or so yrs that the pain and stiffness in my back and neck have gotten worse. I am writing now because not only am I just having pain, I am also getting lightheaded, dizzy and having tremors. They happen when I am standing and when I try to lay down on my stomach. Avatar m tn around my head and it only gets stronger with time) dizziness, headaches, neck pain and stiffness, tightness of the throat (like talking and eating are harder) along with a constant urge to clench my jaw. My vision has also been getting blurrier and I'm very sensitive to light and sound. Recently I've also developed ringing in my ears which won't go away. The doctors haven't been able to find anything except for claiming it's "stress"...

Avatar f tn Hi Alana, I have restricted flow, lightheadedness, dizziness and some neurological symptoms plus the pain in the back of the head and neck and headaches. Haven't seen my NS yet. But today I went for a stress test to rule out heart problems causing the lightheadedness and they had to stop after two minutes because my BP was 236/51. So I just wondered if you have had your heart checked. I am wondering if my symptoms could be entirely my heart, and not the chiari at all.
Avatar f tn I am 30 years old I have been suffering from lightheadedness since dec 2007. I have seen so many drs within the first 2 years i developed this, i had ct, mri on my head in 2008, i also had skull xray, chest, saw a ent which he sent me for a ct of my sinuses, due to pressure in my head and me blowing green yellow mucus which was not an infection. I had tons of blood work.

1797743 tn?1389213685 Hi...just curious...anybody else have chronic neck pain? I will be fine for a few weeks and then all of the sudden the back of my neck (cervical spine region) will start to ache for several days in a row. Almost like I've strained my neck or something. It comes and goes.
Avatar n tn I have this deep pulsating chest discomfort in the upper central area below the throat, it pulsates when my pulse gets up, when i have tachycardia due to any variety of emotions (anger, anxiety), and when I'm at rest, it just feels like a dull heavy pressure, I also sometimes wake up at night tachycardic and short of breath. I've also had lightheadedness and near syncope when my pulse gets tachycardic too.
Avatar f tn hi my dr, is going to send me for an ultrasound of my neck veins because of my current complaints.
Avatar f tn Does Anyone have severe dizziness/lightheadedness that accompanies their pain. I am actually becoming more concerned with the lightheadedness than the pain. Yesterday I actually ended up at U of P ER because of an episode where I actually felt I was going to loose consciousness. There was a heat like sensation up the back of my neck into my head and I immediately began to sweat and get clammy. Has anyone had this?
358304 tn?1409709492 I actually do believe it could actually be my tension causing the sensation on lightheadedness/dizziness. I stretched my neck some more tonight, its finally loosening up, amen, and the dizzy spells have stopped!! I had no idea tension could cause that feeling. But everything is connected.
Avatar n tn I have been feeling lousy for awhile. Headaches for 3 weeks. Lightheadedness since July. Neck pain since July (some arthritis in neck). Pain goes around whole neck. Everyone says my Lymph nodes are normal. I keep being told it's a lack of sleep, poor diet, stress. I just have that unwell feeling and it scares me.
Avatar m tn Generally pain in the back portion of the head, neck and lightheadedness symptoms originate from the neck problems due to irritation/injury in the cervical (neck) spine since the nerves that supply the back of the head start in the upper cervical spine. Mostly, this kind of head pain aggravates after turning head and typically occurs in patients with previous neck injuries.
Avatar f tn I am 22 years old and I've been experiencing neck pain that goes up to my head. It started 2 months after I gave birth to my daughter. First, I would just feel lightheaded throughout the day with slight neck pain. The doctor told me that it was just my sinuses and told me to treat it like allergies. (I never had allergies before). Throughout the months, my neck pain had been getting worse along with my head pressure and lightheadedness.
Avatar n tn But after the fever has gone down, I had neck stiffness, numb hands and legs, tingling, shoulder pain and lightheadedness during sleep and when i am about to wake up. This lasted for a week, I saw an Ortho and he said these are signs of Radiculopathy. He gave some muslce relaxants and paracetamol for five days, multi vitamins, calcium and iron (as I had Hb% of 11). He also gave anti-histamines and a medicine for lightheadedness that might be caused by inner ear infection.
Avatar m tn I dislocated my sternomanubrial joint and lived with it like that for nearly seven years because the pain in my chest was very mild/ non existent initially and all of the pain was in my back (later the neck / throat / jaw but nobody connected the dots). It is a rare injury so nobody ever thinks of it and it can be ruled out with a simple lateral chest x ray.
Avatar f tn ve had shortness of breath,body aches,shakiness,lightheadedness, muscle weakness,paranoid,irritatable, nerve pain in neck,arms,and head, headaches,short periods(3 days),mild depression,suicidal thoughts,neck stiffness,eye pain,occasional blurry vision,facial stiffness,breast pain,abdominal pain,and feeling tense.
