Common Questions and Answers about Neck lift non invasive

Avatar m tn Hi I just had a revision procedure that included neck lift to correct my platysma muscles. I originally had liposuction and a thread lift done to rejuvenate my lower part of my face. I didn't want anything invasive so opted for the thread lift with lipo under the chin and lightly underneath my jawline. After the healing was done it was obvious that the procedure did not obtain good results and exposed my platysma bands and had much indentations where the thread lift was placed under my jaw.
13771703 tn?1431418700 I really feel the neck exercises given to me post op have given my neck strength....there are certain ones we should do and they must be done correctly or it can do more harm then good....I do feel I have been able to avoid this surgery due to these exercises.... And I do agree, you need to find a true Chiari specialist..which is not easy...but we do have a short list for Australia.....but could be worth looking into...
Avatar f tn i had the discectomy in 2003 and 12 months later i was back to working out and lifting weights. A discectomy is a simple non invasive procedure and there is no limits on how much weight you can lift years after having one. I had a spinal fusion in dec 2007: and have been going to physical therapy and have been told that i will be able to return to all and any activity i was doing prior.
Avatar n tn I've been searching the internet looking for info on non-invasive blood testing machines (not interested in the gluco-watch). There seems to be 100's being tested, developed, waiting for approval, etc. Are there any small, reliable ones that are REALLY about to be on the market? Also do they ever do any type of study/trial where they use diabetics to test the machines?? Thanks.
Avatar f tn On June 9 I decided to take a non- invasive paternity test a week later my result came back and it said that “ The probability was greater than 99.0%”, so I calm down, but when I took it I was barley between 9 or 10 weeks pregnant. Eventually out of knower I thought about the result I got back, so I got worried I thought to myself “ what if it was wrong”... Two months later I decided to take another one just in case. The 2 one I took it on August 19.
Avatar n tn I had a partial face lift and neck lift 2 years ago. I still feel extreme tension/tightness at the sides of my neck, near my cervical nodes. I cannot palpate any node enlargement. I am also experiencing increasing parasthesia of my lips to the point of difficulty enunciating words. I have no lip drooping, but I experience some saliva drooling while speaking. My surgeon merely suggests more surgery.
Avatar n tn Have you fallen and banged your head, or have had any injury to your neck or shoulder areas? Your neck muscles could be stressed or very tight, not allowing you full range of motion at times. Exercises, yoga or massage therapy could be non-invasive way to start. These have all helped my "clicking neck" to some degree. If it becomes really bothersome or painful you should go to your health care provider who can give you advice.
Avatar m tn I suggest you ask to be referred to a specialist for a second opinion.
Avatar f tn In PET scan, there is a lymphnode in neck and some in chest. SUV of neck lymphnode is 9.7 and for chest lymphnodes, it is 3.9 to 6.4. Docotrs wanted to do biopsy of this neck lymphnode but it was found difficult to do. He said that there is also possibility of sarcoidosis. In sarcoidosis, may this SUV be too high? My husband has no symptoms of lymphoma. Now what should we do? Doctors suggested to take regular checkup. But I am afraid. Is it also the possibilty of lymphoma?
Avatar f tn t affect your ability to drive. In fact, had I known how non-invasive it was, I could have driven myself to and back from the radiology facility, where the biopsy was performed. But, you may want to have someone drive and be with you when you go in for the biopsy, just for the company and the comfort of their support.
Avatar n tn Seek out a chiropractor and see what they think, if it can be treated through manipulation of the neck since that is a non-invasive treatment option that has minimal-to-no recovery time; otherwise, as I've previously stated, you'll be looking at surgery to remedy the root cause.
Avatar n tn The neurogenic variant of TOS is characterized by non specific symptoms like neck stiffness, pain on raising the arm above the head, neck pain and headaches and a tired feeling in arm. Pinched nerve in the neck can also be a cause. Please consult a neurologist and your PCP to rule out all the causes. Take care!
Avatar f tn It sounds like you may have a structural issue within the neck surrounding the brachial plexus. Start simple - chiropractic care is non-invasive. The doctor will take x-rays of your spine and see if there is a biomechanical issue that's contributing to this pain pattern.
Avatar n tn I am 50 years old, I have a multi disc prolapses in C5 - C6 , T3 -T4 , L1 - L2, but the thoracic disc prolapse is the most effective on me, also it is the final one that occurred to me since May 2010, about 7months ago, in very silly accident, when I was trying to lift a heavy bag up in bad posture, it also the same reason for the first accident of the other two protrusions (the cervical and the lumber) before 2 years ago.
