Hi I just had a revision procedure that included neck lift to correct my platysma muscles. I originally had liposuction and a thread lift done to rejuvenate my lower part of my face. I didn't want anything invasive so opted for the thread lift with lipo under the chin and lightly underneath my jawline. After the healing was done it was obvious that the procedure did not obtain good results and exposed my platysma bands and had much indentations where the thread lift was placed under my jaw.

I had a partial face lift and neck lift 2 years ago. I still feel extreme tension/tightness at the sides of my neck, near my cervical nodes. I cannot palpate any node enlargement. I am also experiencing increasing parasthesia of my lips to the point of difficulty enunciating words. I have no lip drooping, but I experience some saliva drooling while speaking. My surgeon merely suggests more surgery.

Tonight I had a true panic attack. My boss booked a course for me to take in Florida in a week. At that time I'll be 25.5 weeks and flying back at my 26 week mark. I called my doctor and they said it should be on to travel as long as I get up and walk around a lot. For some reason I'm beyond panicking right now. I'm so scared something bad will happen and I'm most worried about preterm labor. She already booked the flight and I'm afraid if I back out now I'll lose my job.

I had neck lift surgery in April of 2012. Ever since the back of the right side of my head feels like I have a metal plate that has been placed inside. My right side of head feels numb but at the same time I am in so much pain. Part of the pain goes deep into the center of the back of my head. A few days ago my husband lifted somthing heavy and pulled a muscle in his chest ive took him to hospital and to see his own gp and he sed his hearts fine but he still has chest twinges and neck and back pain that will come and go an is really painfull can anybody help me with any advice please on what you thinks wrong or where the pains coming from as im worried tbh and am gratefull with any help I can get thankyou

I had a face & neck lift 3.5 years ago and I am still experiencing swollen jaw area & tingling sensations in my cheek areas. Sometimes I feel like I am going to choke the chin/neck area is so tight. I exercise, massage, hot/cold compress, etc but nothing is relieving the swollen areas. Any ideas?

@lesley they do say 25 but I lift my daughter and she is 30 lbs. I personally wouldn't lift anything heavier than that. I would not have a job where I'm lifting anything that I know in my head is too heavy pregnant. Yes, a 25 lb box can feel like a ton depending on whats in there.

2 years ago I had a neck lift, with lipo under the chin and my upper and lower eyes done. I have had constant and often debilitating pain since the surgery. Burning like Chinese burns, no feeling to the sides of the face, tightness that is overwheelming. Slight swelling along the jawline RHS that is worse at different times. I've had blood tests, xrays, ultrasound, second opinions from other plastics surgeons and doctors.

I have been having palpitations with nausea, sweating, rapid heartbeat, severe fatigue, faintness and pain in my neck and left jaw and arm, as well as facial numbness for over a year. I went to the hospital and I was told that I have SVT and PVC. I was admitted by the attending and placed on a 48 hr halter monitor to measure the episodes so that proper meds could be prescribed. I also had a cardiac enzyme test preformed and ECG and 3 EKG’s.

Does anyone else find their families going over board with keeping you form doing things? My family is getting on my nerves. They keep telling stuff like you aren't going to be able to do that, you can't do this. I'm so tired of it. I'M PREGNANT that doesn't mean I'm incapable of doing things. I keep reminding them of this but they keep on. They keep telling me to stop lifting things that are not even heavy, but do they offer to help? NO!

One month ago I had a neck and half face lift. I am now have a large under the skin scar tissue development next to my mouth, it is preventing me from opening my mouth, I can not even eat a banana, floss my teeth,etc. My doctor said to massage the area, and come in the office for ultra sound treatments to help dissolve the scar tissue, several days later there is more scar tissue devloping in other areas. what is your take on this and what is your recomendation?

Right now, he did not feel the pain, he can move his neck, also his arm strength back on. But, the problem is he still can not lift up his shoulder higher than ears. I was told pregnant woman shouldn't lift their arms above their heads but then there are others that say we can... Has anyone else heard of this and what is your take on this matter?! Also, why can't we do this because I really don't understand why we can't?!

My doctors told me to lift my arms above head when short of breath. Said makes it easier to breath. I don't think doctors would tell me to do something that will hurt baby. So I think it's fine, just nothing real heavy.
