There almost feels like a pressure in my ears.

If I concentrate on something or watch a movie etc the pain level goes down / almost goes away. Avatar f tn So I got neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, leg pain, and tenderness. I just started back working (because of this economy, not because of my back pain), and I swear I am in the worst pain ever. I can not sit up straight, in the same spot, for too long. Even when I'm leaned against a pillow in bed or on the sofa, my back and neck aches. I stay in pain!!

Avatar f tn Yes, my roommate (male, 51) and I both suffer from migraine syndrome and often have neck/shoulder pain that triggers the headache. I have a couple of protruding cervical discs and have suffered two traumatic brain injuries with loss of consciousness. I find that reducing stress - easier said than done - can help, also avoiding straining my neck/shoulders and strengthening the muscles.

Avatar n tn When i got home a couple of hours later my entire torso front and back was in pain. My neck and shoulders hurt along with a headache in the rear of my head on both sides. I also have had a constant pain in my eyes when moving them. Saturday subsided with some advil (I never, under any circumstances take pain meds) and I could get out of bed around noon or so. I had no energy to even fix myself something to eat. Sunday is the same, but woken at 2:47 in the morning by the headache.
Avatar m tn Since last week I have had the headache and neck pain is much worse radiating from the back of my head (where the two bones at the back of the head are) to my shoulders. The headache seems to be worse in the morning when I wake up and is not a constant headache. It comes and goes during the day but is at worse in the mornings and at night. I also feel nauseous a lot of times not sure if it could be related to the headache or not. The neck pain is also more like a burning type of pain.

Avatar f tn When I bend over the pain is severe in my neck at the base of my head (where head and neck meet) and the headache feels worse. Otherwise the pain is 7 or 8/10 and is CONSTANT. No relief with OTC pain management. I’m a 34 year old woman, no other health issues. Plan to see a doctor if pain doesn’t go away Sunday. Does anyone know if this is a sprain? Pinched nerve? Or worse?

146298 tn?1258712247 There are many different possible reasons for your headache and facial pain, but one thing that comes to mind are migraines. You can have sinus migraines that at consistent with what you describe. Talk to your neurologist about it. You may ultimately need a sinus CT if these problems don't resolve.
Avatar f tn s pulling on the left side of your head and the headache. You need to get your whole shoulder and neck carefully massaged out, might be a knot of muscles that a professional massage therapist will locate, and that would be the muscle spasm area. I get muscle spasms a lot from a wrenched spine, and when husband works them out, he can feel those knots I'm referring to, and he rubs them out, sometimes takes a few times to settle the whole thing down.
