Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
Avatar n tn It started as sinus headaches 2 months ago, then it turned into pressure all over my face and an earache with jaw pain. That was 3 weeks ago. Now it is jaw pain, dizziness, and sinus pressure. My ENT had a CT done and said my sinuses are basically clear but I have 2 small polyps in a cavity and teeth growing in y nasal cavity?...Apparently this is normal? But now I am severely depressed and anxious too. He seems to think all of this stemed from stress so he gave me valium.
Avatar n tn I've had such a tough time with sinus headaches, allergies (watery eyes, plugged ears and tinnitus) and fatigue that I finally went to an ear-nost-throat doctor last week. He put me on Nasonex, a steroid nasal spray, to reduce the inflammation. I also hear my heartbeat in my ear at times, and he's hoping that a month on Nasonex will stop that. If not, he'll do a CT scan and other work to see what's going on.
Avatar n tn Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age. Live in notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age.
531684 tn?1216745984 I am one of those 'supposedly' rare cases. I used nasonex in the past years off and on. Doctors kept saying it was a rare side effect to have nose bleeds, yet I can't even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex!
Avatar f tn My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat. I take nasonex and prilosec (for suspected GERD) but nothing seems to help. ANy suggestions on what this could be or what I can do?
Avatar f tn I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

Avatar n tn You should still see your doctor and get a clinical examination for a diagnosis and to evaluate if any investigations are required including blood tests, chest xray and CT scan of the sinuses. Are you allergic to any specific substances or have you had allergic reactions in the past? Let us now about how you are doing and if you have any other doubts. Regards.
Avatar n tn Hello I'm a 17 year old male, I've been having a warm feeling in my lower left leg, mostly in my left foot. I've also had this feeling on my upper left chest as well as in my ears, it feels like that part of my body is being soaked in warm water, my doctor didn't pay much attention to this and was clueless. I'm kind of freaked out at the moment seeing this has been going on for weeks and feels very unnatural, could a blood clot cause this? and any ideas?
Avatar f tn Best to go in and get some heart testing, like an echocardiogram, since your pressure's low and though you have acid reflux, in women, a heart attack can sometimes feel like a case of heartburn. So, please don't delay!
Avatar n tn t whether I should Just keep doing the Nasonex and nothing else and wait n see? or if I should take some Sudafed and see what that does. Im not usually a person that takes medicines a lot I usually just like to work out and exercise a lot and let my body take care of it. But I never had tinnitus for 2 months before haha...but I'm just wondering what would be the better alternative do you think?
Avatar m tn I have a 17 year old son for 10 months has been feeling sharp and burning chest pain. In the last 3 months he's been feeling like food is getting stuck in his throat and acid coming up.He recently underwent an endoscopy an was told he has minor damages to the esophagus. Furthermore, He has been recently feeling the sensation or feeling food stuck in his throat ( I'm not sure which one) more often. Is this common? He has been taking lanasaprazole for 3 and 1/2 months.
Avatar f tn Follow the instructions for ear drops and complete your antibiotic course. You can use OTC Acetaminophen also for relief from pain. Regards.
Avatar f tn I have also experienced difficulty swallowing for the past 6 months alongside all of this, some burning in my throat, and pain in my ears, and some ringing in my ears. I apologize for the rant here, but I have been unable to work for months because of these symptoms. Thank you for your time!
Avatar n tn I have also been on a regimen of Nasonex and other sorts of nasal sprays that you need a prescription for. Once again, I saw temporary relief only to have the symptoms return. This summer (and now September) of 2008 has been really bad. (I lived in Japan from July 2006 to May 2008, and for some reason I had few allergic symptoms there). I am, like ever, waking up in the middle of the night unable to breathe because my nose gets congested. I blow my nose, but nothing gets drained.
Avatar n tn I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?

Avatar f tn Can Bronchiectasis result after just one run in with acute bronchitis that lasted about 3 weeks? I read that it can occur after recurrent infections, but I only had one...acute bronchitis. I ask this because after being diagnosed with acute bronchitis 5 weeks ago and having it for 3 weeks, my cough got MUCH MUCH better, but I still can hear/feel the "chest congestion" and purposefully cough to attempt to get rid of the phlegm in my lungs/chest.
Avatar n tn This past Sunday I cleaned out a closet in my hall and by that night I was nasally congested, headache, drip in the throat, and ran fever. I take twice daily, Zyrtec D and spray my nose before I go to bed with Nasonex. The usually treatment to get me out of this, is a vitamin/steroid shot the doctor gives me, antibotics, and 10 day treatment of steroids to get me relief. Have you found anything that works besides prescription drugs? Any help is welcome. Thank you.
Avatar m tn Suggestion of the two things I have mentioned can; not saying they WILL. I would try them in combination.
Avatar n tn Doctors have suggested, and I have tried, decongestants, Garasone, Nasonex, Neti pot, Advil Cold and Sinus. Nothing is working. The glands in my neck are sore and swollen. There does not seem to be much, if any, good news to be found on the resolution of this condition. Any suggestions??
Avatar m tn s what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun. Very clever, taking advantage of peoples' medical conditions.
Avatar m tn I know that many cold remedies have Phenedrine and/or other stimlulants and I am wondering if any Afib patients out there take Nasonex or Flonase wihtout any problems.
