Nail fungus lotrimin

Common Questions and Answers about Nail fungus lotrimin

nail

I had been reading A LOT on this website and others and decided it must have been something like balanitis or a fungal infection from being uncircumcised, so I started applying Lotrimin anti-fungal cream on my penis which didn't seem to bother it at all and seemed to keep any redness or soreness away. My girlfriend and I then had unprotected sex the morning of 5/11/13 (the first time we've had unprotected sex since this incident).
It's kind of like a clean turpentine smell, but I use it all the time. It even cures nail fungus if you use it every day for a few months.
Follow the directions on the tube. For the nail fungus, get pure tea tree oil and put that on your nail every day, twice a day if possible, but at least once a day. It will take months and it smells pretty much like turpentine, but it won't hurt you. There are oral antifungals, but they have the potential to harm your liver. You can take oral odorless garlic and a probiotic or prebiotic to get your system cleaned up. Avoid eating sugar to get your flora healthy again.
I also have a nail fungus that has plagued me for over 4 years now. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. I use one towel but i use a hairdryer to dry my feet and i make sure my feet don't touch my boxers when i put them on. There is some itchiness but nothing unbearable. After masturbation or sex the tip of my penis is bright red. Could this be an std or is it just a fungus?
I tried that and it cured my fungus toe nail. Great. But it didnt help with my penis. I have been taking Monistat cream on my penis for almost 2 years now to keep the tip of my penis from irritation and soapy film build up. From the symptom, it looks like yeast infection but why arent the medications helping? I have been to the doctors and they couldnt tell me what is the problem. Can you anyone solve my problem? i want to have a normal penis again.
sometimes it hurts, but only if I poke it with my nail. I have no idea what it is. It simply will not go away. I've been washing my face quite a lot lately, I tried putting alcohol on it, and then aquaphor for dryness and healing. but nothing. it will not go away. it doesn't bleed or leak any type of fluid, or anything like that. but i am extremely worried because I searched skin rash and got a bunch of pages about skin cancer. I don't think it is skin cancer though. also...
I recently (about 4 1/2 weeks later now) began applying Lotrimin again and seems to be fading, but I don't know if it should be faster now or maybe I'm just so impatient at this point. Here are some side notes that may help: -One fingernail was damaged due to guitar playing and seemed to get a very slight fungal look to the side of the nail (dry skin, small slight brown area etc) -Girlfriend was found to have early form of HPV and started getting treated few months back.
I have kinda similar hard surface growth dry and cracked on my thumb next to my nail seems like some sort of fungus and help yet
It hit me like a ton of bricks right then - it is a fungus - like athlete's foot. Since then, I have been using antifungal cream. Hope this helps.
I understand that the oral drugs used for nail fungus problems have can affect the kidneys. What do you know about that, and can I learn more?
Ent Dr said he had fungul infection and we were told to use athletes foot liquid drops, ie; lotrimin. that worked. Ent said that antibiotic drops feed the fungus.
For yeast infections, there are several over-the-counter drugs such as Butoconazole (Femstat), Miconazole (Monistat), Tioconazole (Vagistat), and Clotrimazole (Femizole-7, Gyne-Lotrimin). Treatment with these products should clear up symptoms in about a week. Nystatin is an antifungal agent for mouth thrush and is typically the only medication used when children are diagnosed. Adults also have pills like fluconazole (Diflucan) and anti fungal throat lozenges called troches.
Hi There, I'm an asian and had a tan skin I have a lots of white spots on my face and neck I went to see the doctor 3years ago and told me they are only a fungus I tried a fungus medicine but nothing happen, I noticed that when I go to a tropical wether they are getting worse, what I remember I started to have this problem when I used to live in Alaska as soon as I got in a hot wether they get worse.
Balls were hot too. Tried to use all sorts of junk, powders, bag balm, tolenfonate, lotrimin, vinegar, salt water....nothing. Here is how to stop your yeast infection: Do what the guy said above. But first, stop irritating your balls and junk with all that crap. The skin down there is probably now super sensitive and not happy. You need to let it rest for a day or two. Just talk 1 cup of sea salt, drop in bath and soak for one hour. 2-3 days to get back to normal.
Quite honestly, I'd be more worried about bed bugs, fungus, etc., that you find a lot in hotel rooms. STDs wouldn't even cross my mind.
My dentist said it was a fungus so I've tried 3 different fungus medications over the years. I finally asked my doctor about it 3 months ago. He actually chuckled about it. When I showed him the most recent med. I was using, he threw it away! LOL He also said that I should never mess with it on my own. I had been using a fine nail file, or plucked the dry skin off with tweezers...if I don't, parts of the skin start to sorta peel up.
some times if people dont keep their toes up they get this fungus under the nail. smells just like that! i hope someone finds a solution. im really aware of it and its hurting my boyfriends and my sex life. i cant be spontaniouse because i dont want him to smell it so i gotta run and jump in the shower first!
I also slapped on some Sarna, sprayed benedryl (spray bottles are great and easier to use for us guys) Aveeno cortisone, Lotrimin for fungus, diluted tea tree oil and just about every other lotion at CVS. Triaminicone (sp?) - got from dermatologist -1% stuff in petroleum jelly - greasy but stays on forever. Benedryl for sleep - every other day Liquid Tylenol - regular cherry and blue menthol - like taking a shot of battery acid. Sometimes it actually helps with anxiety - dont know why.
I used about everything that came to mind, Neosporin, Alcohol, Peroxide, Cortisone, and Lotrimin. None of them helped, excepted for the Peroxide it helped with the itching but that was pretty much it, the symptoms keep coming back. So, today I came on this board reading your story about what you get on your hands and feet, it kind of seems like the same thing or similar to what I have. And I happen to use Pepsodent! So, I ran to my bag and grabbed my toothpaste then went into the bathroom.
There are many things that you could be allergic to that could cause this including cosmetics, hair coloring, nail polish, food allergies, perfumes, etc. If you get no relief consider seeing a cornea/external disease ophthalmologist. You can use the Find An Eye MD feature at www.aao.org to find one near you. Let us know if you determine a cause.
There are a lot of natural ways to rid the body of fungus, yeast and mold. A good site to research is www.****.com . Hope this helps........
Not really as bad as what you'd see when someone has actual toe nail fungus, but just shy of that. I was shocked when this happened, since I've always had beautiful finger and toe nails.
I was following the reports from someone under the name bbally who was having his skin cultured to check for possible fungus or bacteria. The comment thread was unexpectedly closed and I have not seen any comment from him since. Myself I am trying an antibiotic cream and see if it works. I know that water makes it worse, but not so sure about sea water.
Nothing seems to help the itch though. I tried cortisone and lotrimin spray for Athletes Foot. No luck. The best thing to stop the itch is to pop the blister and then it burns a little, which is more bearable than the itch. Please let me know if you have found an explanation and/or a remedy. Thank you!
Itchy ears are actually very common. They tend to be worse in people who make very little wax as wax typically lubricates and moistens the ear canal. There are several things that can be tried. If the eardrums are intact, a drop or two of baby oil (mineral oil) every few days can help quite a bit. Over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone cream (apply to outer ear canal with the little finger) can be very helpful. There are other prescription treatments (Dermotic oil) that can help also.
My apt has huge humidity problems, im thinking it may be a fungus, or a parasaite / bug that feeds on the fungus being developed in my house. Supposely, non of the neighbors have it, even do they have alot of animals.( im the only one of 4apt. in this floor without pets) I stoped talking about the problem, because people thought i was going bananas, including my father and the people @ work. This whole thing started as a buzz(noise). @ First i thought they were mosquitos.
“Do you have toe nail fungus or athlete’s foot!” Using the same solution on my facial outbreaks as on my toe nails (the revised formula with coconut oil), the facial condition is clearing up. Just like with my feet, skin is sloughing off and the nodules are beginning to eject. This is the best result I’ve seen in years. I expect it will take a few months for the problem to be cured, as the fungus is down below the level of the base of the hair follicle in the sebaceous gland.
Remember, not everyone who itches has a fungus, so it is important to consult your doctor, especially if you have pain, discharge, or an unusual odor. If, however, your doctor tells you she can't find anything to explain the itching then you may find some relief with my advice. Good luck!
