You're probably going to be tempted to comment things like "how are we supposed to know" "you have to go to l&d" . Well. I'm not freaking going to l&d okay because I don't think I'm in labor. I was wondering if this sounds anything to you like it's coming soon like possibly in the next few days. Okay. I'll start with yesterday. I started getting a loose stool. I would call your doctor or go to labor and delivery. It could be labor and its better to be safe then sorry.
I am 35 weeks tomorrow with baby #1. Been having menstrual like cramps in my lower back and lower belly/pelvic area. It started not last night, but the night before. Occasionally it gets painful and sharp pains spread up towards my belly button. When they aren't the sharp pains that go up higher, it's just a dull ache like the period cramps. But the cramps have been pretty constant for the past hour or so. I know I'm not in labor yet, but could this the beginning signs?
I'd say that could be early signs of labor. But they can last a couple weeks. Good luck!
Ok so apart from the obvious crippling contractions and water breaking has anyone had any other signs that they were going into labor soon. I'm 35 weeks starting to hit the panic stage lol and wanting to know if anyone has any helpful tips or signs to look out for.
I woke up feeling off colour one day with occassional menstrual cramps. By lunch time I has such bad intestinal cramps I felt like I couldn't get off the toilet for 1.5hrs then I lost my mucus plug! Within 20muns I started having mild contractions and spotting so went to hospital. Within 3hrs of losing my plug I was having awful painful contractions 3mins apart. They stopped in 3 times times tho and 2wks later I was allowed home. Hope that info helps!
That's what scared of no symptoms of early labor.
thanks for those sites michele! i checked them out and i have a few of the signs but not all of them. the pelvic pressure has been getting worse. this morning it hurt so bad i couldn't even roll over to get out of bed and the cramping has been coming and going in waves. it doesn't really stop but it's not constant. now it's just like menstrual cramps. if i wasn't pregnant i'd be running to the bathroom to see if af started....lol.
It's because you're starting to feel contractions. I'm a Gym as well and my due date is June 16th and I'm already 2 centimeters dilated.
Every time i stand up to even go to the bathroom, shower, ect i get horrible tightening cramps all over my tummy. Today is the worste its ever been, the pains havent gone away in time like they normally do. When i lay down they sort of subside but they dont really leave. The last 5 days ive been having a lot soft BM's not diharrea follwed by menstrual like cramps. Is this early labor or my son playing tricks on me?!
What are some signs of preterm labor? I'm 33 weeks and just curious as to what I should watch for. I know everyone's different and not everything that's mentioned will happen and be preterm.
Does labor come on gradual with light cramps? Or all of a sudden 'bam!'? Or is it braxton hicks for long time then labor??

Lower back pain... lower abdomen pain like menstrual type cramps. Pressure in your butt or vagina! everyone is different tho but i can tell you this i didnt go into labor on my own with my son but i did with my daughter and the weekend before i had my daughter i thought i was going into labor ha the contractions i was having was nothing compared to when i actually woke up the next weekend in labor!
I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?
I go back and forth now with diarrhea to loose stools. Well around Monday I was having menstrual like cramps from above my pelvic bone up to a few inches under my belly button. Sitting didn't stop them, walking didn't help, bathing didn't help, and neither did laying down. I could get some ease of the severity of them when laying or bathing but it didn't take them away.
What are the signs if you know that the baby is coming out? I know that the water breaks thingy but how will i know if the water breaks? Will i it feel painful? Or tingly? Or the water would be warm or water would be dripping like a 1liter pitcher coming out? What other signs are there?
Sounds like my day and I'm 34 and 1/2 wks. One of the joys of the 3rd tri.
