No not necessarily, I had two miscarriages before this pregnancy so I was really worried this pregnancy and in the beginning I had a lot of cramping and back pain as well, its normal as everything is preparing to stretch.

Sounds like my day and I'm 34 and 1/2 wks. One of the joys of the 3rd tri.

Within that week the symptons that I been experiencing were bloating, sore breast and back aches. I recently been experiencing menstrual cramps off and on for three days. Is the menstrual cramps a sign of pregnacy? I am due to take my blood test June 10th 2008. I am praying that this will work. In the beginning, I was kind of disappointed that only one egg fertilized but when I found out that I had a healthy embryo it restored my hope.

and to top things off now im having cramps but their real light cramps and im not on my period... could this be a sign of pregnancy ? ive taking a home pregnancy test but they came out negative...how long should i wait before i do take a home pregnancy ?

Hi, I have been having head achs alot lately and just 3 days ago I started having ALOT of black diarreah (sorry TMI) But I was curious if this is a sign of pregnancy and if anyone else has had these symptoms? Because I read that constipation was a sign, so maybe this was too?? Im 2 days late on my period and I have been having period like cramps and diarreah and discharge. I thought I started so I ran to the bathroom, no blood just discharge..

Cramping can be a sign of a miscarriage to come. You need to be seen to know what is going on with your pregnancy. The ER should have done an ultrasound and I don't know why they didn't, which is odd. Though do make the appointment. Good luck.

Cramping is pretty common during pregnancy and I know of women who have had menstrual-like cramps but Im not sure about anything stronger than that. I would suggest you call your doctor to let them know first thing tomorrow and also dont have sex since cramping sometimes occurs afterwards.

Maybe Braxton hicks. Drink lots of water. Call your doctor since its been constant. Braxton hicks normally doesn't last that long and could be preterm labor as the other lady said.

are u talkn menstrual cramps. if so drink warm fluids not cold. cold fluids give u cramps. and try a warm rag on ur belly.

It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. If you have more than 4 cramps an hour, you should call your OB ASAP. That is what the OB nurse told me on Friday when I was having contractions showing on the monitor, although I didn't feel them.

Hi everyone, I have been having menstrual like cramps during the night ( when I lay down for sleep) and while having long walks. ( when I have them I have so trouble breathing) I also do have this strong back pain when I go for a walk. Are these any sign of pre labour? the sharp pain you had could have been a sign of ovulation. if you go another week or 2 and you don't get your period, I would take a test. if it comes back negative I would go to my doctor. or a women's health clinic or someplace like that. are you taking any kind of birth control or were you?

I am 39 weeks 5 days preg. I am having bad menstrual like cramps and horrible back pains. At my last appt, I was 3cm dilated and told that my cervix was very, very thin. When is it time to go to the hospial? I am having trouble counting contractions because the pain is constant but the very sharp pains are about 6-8 mins apart. My mother keeps saying I will know when it is time because I wont be able to talk but is it possible that my pains wont be that bad but still be a sign to go in?

Can you please share your experiences if any regarding implantation cramping please? I am due for my cycle tomorrow but I think I felt implantation cramping 2 days ago which was less cramping and more of a pinching sensation, yesterday I had heavier cramping and was for sure that AF would be here this am and she wasn't. Is it normal to have period like cramps during your pregnancy? Im 13 wks. I had those cramps this passed Monday, it woke me out of my sleep. It really made nervous and i checked to make sure i wasn't bleeding and i wasn't.

There aren't really any early signs of pregnancy that can't be explained by other things as well. What did your pregnancy test say?

I should mention that I always have back pain during my AF though. When I talk about menstrual cramps, that is what I refer to b/c that is what hurts me. ... Now that I think about I may be weird .... Does anyone else besides me cramp in their back during AF? I think its genetic b/c my mom did and so does my sister. Just wondering ....

This month the only symptom I had was sore bb. My cramps are not menstrual, but more like ovulation. My period is not very heavy but nor is it light. This month I will be having my first IUI w/clomid, so I go into tomorrow for day 3 b/w and blood test. My question(s) is: Has this happend to anyone? Hi ladies, I'm a ftm & I'm currently 39w4d. Today I've been experiencing an ache in my lower back that feels like it does during my period, and it kinda goes around to my hips & stomach. It's not intense or anything, but it has gradually gotten worse. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary to hurt my back or anything. It's not really timeable because it's pretty constant.
