Choose an activity that you like ( walking, dancing, yoga, sports ) and do it several times a week. Healthy diet and good water intake is also important and as for what is a healthy diet i think i was clear above but i will be more clear. Eat whole, organic, unprocessed foods. Eliminate dairy foods that come from cows fed hormones that increases milk production. There’s no telling how they may affect your hormones. Go outside! Even a 30 mins walk is ok and considered exercising.

I STRONGLY recommend that those with Hypothyroidism as well as those who don’t stay clear of the HCG diet at all costs. It isn’t worth the health risks.
I have to take this new weight back off cause I can barely walk. Now you get my diet advice. ASPARTAME (as in Diet Coke) has been medically and irrefutably shown to stimulate insulin release and thus casues rebound hunger; it also contributes to insulin resistance. I would recommend avoiding it like the plague.
Thanks Port Yes the meds are still in the fridge can't give them back, Insurance politics you know like Safeway cannot give away the food that is to old to sell but very usable going to sneak them to my GI for his fridge if needed by a patient?
Here is some of my history from this summer since the first urine infections in April and I will continue until todays date 1) April 2011, started to have strange pain in my lower belly (like a cat was scratching my lower stomach) I had no problem peeing or any burning during urination, but my family doctor said I had a UTI, so I got antibiotics and it seemed to pass. At that time she also told me that I was getting high cholesterol.
When I decided in March of last year to stop the effexor, even with tapering off of it like my Doctor told me, I still had bad withdrawal. I ended up stopping effexor and then joining weight watchers, that seemed to help my depression more than any medications. Good luck to you. You also have to remember that everyone reacts different to medications. What made me gain weight may make you lose. Good luck!
Hot flashes, sleepless nights, no libido and just plain miserable. I was hoping the weight would come off when I went off the HRT but no such luck. So searched the internet for a more natural way to cope with menopause and hopefully lose this weight. I purchased macafem and Estrothin. I have been on both for about a month and see no difference. I have not lost a pound and the hot flashes are as hot as ever and still no libido.
I'd like to ask if it is not the diet and exercise that is not flattening your stomachs and not the treatments. I mean, it might just be that you know that you are spending hundreds on your injections so you are making unconcious choices not to eat like you did before - and this is also aiding in the weight loss?
I've been on 850mg 2X a day for 2 months....for IR. I finally have some energy, and the ability to curb my appetite. I've lost 8.5 inches between my neck and waist since Thanksgiving...(my trainer doesn't tell me the scale number, i'm phoebic still). I think i'm probably about 170# at 5'5"....but previously i had gained steadily over 30# in 10 months, (from 152-184) while trying to lose with diet and exercise. i wasn't ready to write it off as "just regular menopause"....
pretty much saying that its a beliefe where men think their penis is going to retract into their body and disapear. Well, this def is not something in his head, lol... really happens. Anyone else heard of this? He went to the doc- the doc is going to call him back cause he doesnt know what it could be.
SHow me a study which showed the decine of women vs. the decline of men that proves VL has no bearing on health. Why this is important is because womens organs are smaller than mens, smaller livers by 1/3, but smaller everything generally speaking. That means that we have less ability to recover from the onslaught than men do....and yet what study distinguishes between us? I'd be curious as to the average lifespan of women vs. men at any given VL.
I'd review the protocol again. The original HCG Diet protocol is published at hcgdietinfo.com. I'm just finishing my first week tomorrow, I'm down 6 lbs and 2 inches around my waist. The first 2 days I lost a whole inch! The third and fourth days, I had too many strawberries and used conditioner and didn't lose anything. The other thing that helped up the loss was adding 15 minutes of exercise when I first wake up in the morning. I lose by the end of the day if I do that!
My costochondritis diagnosis was made by the doctors at the Sunnybrook Pain Management Clinic, after reviewing all diagnostic tests I have collected for the last 10 months - MRI (thoracic, abdomen), contrast CT scan (pelvis, abdomen), abdominal ultrasound, blood and urine, colonoscopy report. Every test came back negative and I was getting really frustrated. The doctors at the clinic performed the hooking maneuver, which caused a lot of pain on the right side, but almost none on the left side.
read the book with loss cure they dont want u to know about by kevin trudeau even though the hcg is the best option with a specific diet to go along with it, u can replace the hcg with another diet and it works just as fine and keeps u healthy and works just as fast.
Until you find a doctor who will give you better advice, I can only say that I know of two men age 40 and 60 with similar symptoms. Both of them drink quite a lot of alcohol daily and one of them has also consumed tons of beef throughout life in an area where cows are still raised with estrogen. He also developed prostate problems. What I`m getting at is that you might have too much estrogen in your system or maybe it is a side effect of any medication.
Not to scare anyone - Posting this for somebody qualified to share their point of view on this study ...here is an article from a highly reputed medical journal on association between sudden deaths among health men 1. High resting heart beat (> 75) 2. No enough jump up in heartbeat while exercising hard (<113) 3. & low drop in heartbeat 1 min after exercise (< 40) http://content.nejm.
It doesn't seem to matter what it is i'm eating it strikes at anytime. I tried the glutan free diet for 6 months and it seem to help but i had attacks off an on while I was on that strick diet. I tried gluten again and it didn't hurt my stomach. So thats not it. There is just no ryhme or reason for this to happen. I am so excited to hear i'm not alone, but i am sorry 4 all your pain. I did the same as some others on here and thought I was having a heart attack one time.
I have no history of fibroids, cysts, etc, have never had children, used to have an IUD, but had it taken out about a year ago, thinking this might have been the cause. I'm 37. I've had the pain for over 2 years, and it has definitely put me off sex. If any of you have had any sort of diagnosis or advice, PLEASE let me know... Thank you.
I have had severe cramp and horrible monthly cycles. I nver had any kind of health problems or female problems until I used the para gard.
If he is not ready to change, you will be lied to , cheated, taken advantage of and everything else that we addicts do best, and if that is not enough, to top it off you will be totally exhausted, drained of all your energy, beating yourself up over your own guilt because you were unable to help him.
