The first few days, when I moved them, lines would appear and they looked like they lost shape a bit on the top lip. They look better now, and lines went away, but they're still not the same as they were before. Do you think I have I lost some collagen or elasticity? Could that happen to someone my age? (I'm 18.) I know it sounds funny that I think it might have been what I did, but they were fine before I did that.

I had an angioma (red spot) removed from above my upper lip. They used a needle to cauterize the spot which was supposed to make it go away. It took a number of injections over several visits before the redness seemed to respond and fade a bit. But in it's place, I now have a triangular shaped divet about the size of the head of a pin where the skin is missing and no longer flush with the rest of my skin above my top lip.

I am a 61 yr old female who recently developed deep lip and mouth lines over the last couple of years. I am a non smoker but I do facial exercises which may cause me to purse my lips more. Is there anything I can do to soften these lines or make them disappear. I am not consistant with my moisturizers so need to keep at that better than I have been. Any suggestions?

Hello.....I was dx with Pars Planitis (both eyes) back in Sept of 2015. I was also dx with Sjogren's Syndrome (via lip biopsy) on 4/22/16. I have not yet started on any medications for SS. My next Rheumy appt is 5/6 and I am assuming I will be started on meds then (currently experiencing CHRONIC dry mouth, fatigue, muscle/joint aches). I am having a red bumps on my lower lip from last 2 months, they appear burns very slightly, stay for 2- 3 days and than disappear for 1 - 2 days and than appear again this is going on for last 2 months now, sometime they hurt and some time they dont.
